It was not that short in the novels as you say, it’s just that Chase scenes can’t be described properly on paper, to make us feel the chase better it’s visualization always going to be longer.

Beyond amazing. I was scared the episode would end before Han Li escaped, that cliffhanger would have made me lose my mind. Best episode so far. I was so anxious, a part of me was scared Han Li would die hahaha. Dude is like batman, always some card up his sleeve. This is my first donghua ever, and I have to say, it is the greatest show I have ever watched in all my life, even tops live action. God bless this hardworking team that provides consistent quality and uploads. 10/10 SO FAR. And thank you XIN for providing us these amazing shows.
