Yeah especially when you know that the studio team works with the stunt team to perform the movements in the fights scenes or when the characters are walking, moving they are moving they body, going the hand sutras, even the face expressions with the moCap suit, it’s not an easy task, it takes lot of hours to do. 🤷🏽♂️
I don’t know if this is true, but someone has told me that the episode legnth depends on the pay. The more the network pays the studio, the longer the episode length. 🤔

Why RMJI Episodes Feel Shorter (The Production Reality)
Advanced Motion Capture (MoCap): RMJI is famous for its ultra-realistic, cinematic martial arts choreography.
As i noted, actors must physically perform complex fight scenes, intricate hand signs (sutras), and delicate facial expressions.
Heavy Editing and Polish: Cleaning up raw MoCap data, aligning it with complex clothing/hair physics, and manually tweaking facial geometry takes an immense amount of time.
Framerate and Realism: RMJI aims for a highly realistic, live-action movie feel.
Shrouding the Heavens, while also using MoCap, relies more heavily on traditional keyframe optimization, massive magical particle effects (CGI blasts), and stylized movements which can sometimes be scaled up or automated faster than gritty, photorealistic hand-to-hand combat.
While Tencent’s deep pockets give STH a massive runway, RMJI’s length is constrained by the sheer clock hours required to polish its industry-leading realistic motion capture, not because the network is withholding money on a week-to-week basis. 🤷🏽♂️
