bias? bias to what? youre the one with the bias bud, maybe focus on whats being said. no ones debating about their relationship or feelings. the season feels off compared to the previous season. hard to say since its still early but theres an obvious focus on NGW and their romance and i hope this is not the direction that becomes overbearing and makes the show hard to watch. i dont want to see the same cringey shit they had in btth/throne of seals/soulland (random extreme lovey dovey scenes). not saying they cant pull this off but too much of a thing can be bad.
the previous eps were fine and good but this ep starts to feel like its getting a bit much. hence the forced romance bits/cringiness. mainly seen during the first part of this ep. eg. showing off the myriad milk doesnt happen in the novel and imo not necessary here. maybe they wanted to show that han li cares deeply for her and was willing to do anything for her at any expense – which is the type of shit im talking about. there was no urgent need to immediately replenish her energy (esp with the milk) cause she/they were not in a dire situation. theres other little things that push this narrative.
anyway, i rewatched the ep and maybe its not as bad as i thought but i can still see it and my hope is that this kind of stuff doesnt retract from the show
