Clue 1. The last episode we see Mo Caihuan there is a message at the end that her “mortal” life ended. (weird wording right?). Clue 2. Next episode we see Wang Ning (Zi Ling) as a child in a carriage. When it passes by a walking Han Li they both sense familiarity and turn back to look at each other. Clue 3. Author basically confirmed it in an interview. We will know with 100% certainty when we reach the immortal realm arc where Wang Ning learns of her mortal past shown in the reincarnation disc at Samsara hall. That arc is still very very far away.
