But this arc is too long and repetitive, it was like that too with some arcs before but the difference is that there was not that much talking.
Here, in this place they talk too much, there is not a lot happening plot wise. 🤷
I wouldn’t say nothing is happening plot wise as it’s build up for what’s about to happen. Qin Chen knows that there is something else there besides the rule fruit due to the other group that didn’t react to the fruit and were just waiting until recently. Qin Chen is basically manipulating the events while making sure that they level up for whatever is about to happen next while getting paid. I wouldn’t be surprised if its another sacrifice event where more souls take over their bodies or another demon boss fight.

I dont see the issue with the deal, to many are either already taken over, or just want to attack QC anyway they can. If they are on side or neutral like that first guy. It just makes sense because creating another Martial God realm for their faction seems like a good trade off.
Im amazed more people didnt try to kill GC when he got fruit, he has been the biggest arsehole in this subplot. It’s already amazing he isnt dead already, I can’t believe even the subordinates are starting to side with him.
Overall though this arc has been good going to the Skelly homeland, but this particular subplot within the Law Fruit Cavern has dragged a lot.

After binge watching all the episodes in a row, I can’t believe we still have no fricking clue on who QCs father is. I was hoping they’d drop some hints but no. Someone spoil me. Is he a foreign demon or what?
And I wonder how many episodes in total this is going to have. It seems like the story is far from over. Are the producers aiming for 1500+ episodes? If not, isn’t it time they increased the length? This is actually good but if I hadn’t read a comment saying it was worth it, I honestly would have never picked it up. And now I’m going to check out all 5mins donghuas just to see if I can find something else to watch.
