A bit of trivia about the Fu Family. The Fools were not only 1 of the 3 Major Cultivator Families in the Yuanwu Kingdom, they are also one of the major families in the Heavenly Dao Alliance’s Hundred Tricks Sect. In fact, the bald guy who was killed by Han Li is a member of the Fu family. They surrendered to the Demonic Flames Sect when it invaded, sent their girls to become concubines of the Higher Ups and went to wipe out the other 2 Families in Yuanwu. The Qin Family (also pronounced as Tan) mentioned here is one of them. I’ve sprouted enough nonsense about Demonic Cultivators reaching for Sledgehammer after committing heinous crimes against women enough, so I won’t elaborate on ‘the Destroy girl’s Cultivation and use magic to restrain her body’ The younger Fool even take out that device with needles probably used it to seal women’s movements to rape them more easily.

According to the novel, the dirty old man (Fu leader) is angry here because Yuling Sect ordered the Fu Family to help them look for the missing Spirit Baby that was captured by Han Li in the last episode. This is why Han Li said the Fools are not only working for the Demonic Flames, but also in cohorts with other Demonic Sects. When Han Li appeared, both young and old tried to use their Divine Senses to look for Han Li, but couldn’t find him, so they activated some sort of Magic Formation which got destroyed by Han Li
For those who thinks Han Li becomes reckless after becoming Nascent Soul, immediately after Han Li confirms the dirty old man is the Head of the Fools, he use Divine Sense to scan the surroundings in case there’s anyone else and also to see the little stunt the dirty old man and the younger dude was pulling. Hence, we see the younger guy taking a pouch which was revealed to be the Fools’ Guardian Spirit Beast. This is why Han Li said they are pulling too many little tricks, Old geezer tricked the younger guy to stay while he runs. Han Li subdued the younger guy and started scanning through his memories to see what they did to Xin Ruyin which made Han Li decide to give the Old geezer ‘a merciful’ death.
On a side note: Han Li’s swords and needles actually impaled the exact same pressure spots that the Fools would’ve done to countless women who fell victims to the Fools. Karma’s a bitch, it is often late but never misses its targets.
Next scene, we see snow in Summer, signifying the grievances towards the Fools are so heinous.
We see Han Li dragging the Old geezer, his blood and red carpet are indistinguishable signifying the Fools’ glory and wealth are built upon blood and grievances of countless.
Han Li can easily wipe out the Fools in 1 blow, but after seeing what they did to his friend Xin Ruyin and all the grievances they committed over the years, Han Li chose to kill them one by one to let them feel the pain they inflicted on the innocent lives.
Han Li’s eyes turned red for a moment. This is foreshadowing something in the future which Han Li has to deal with.
Han Li now shows what he saw in the 2nd Leader (younger guy)’s memories. After Han Li left, Xin Ruyin made a tablet for her – She didn’t want to live anymore.
She went round destroying multiple Fool Family branches as a Qi Refiner is to deliberately let the Fools know that she has secrets. This way, the Fools will want to learn her secrets first and not kill her immediately and give her a chance to self-destruct.
Watching his friend die such a horrid death and the Old geezer said as long as he is alive, the Fools will never fall. So Han Li made sure to keep the Old man alive to watch him slaughter the entire Fool Family.
Han Li did this because Xin Ruyin and Yun Xiao were one of Han Li’s few friends.
Furthermore, Xin Ruyin taught Han Li everything she knows about Magic Formations and Magic Tools crafting.
