This is currently my #1 donghua. It has everything I look for in a perfect donghua. I never have complaints or bad things to say about this one, because I cannot find any flaws or negative aspects in it, just because there is not any. There is really nothing else like it.

I really like how they did not skip anything and handled the heart demon experience. Instead of showing the heart demon last week episode, and ending the episode in a cliff-hanger . Showing the breakthrough first and showing the heart demon in a flash-back today’s episode was a smart decision.
I saw somewhere on their social media that this donghua broke 4.3 billion views and they deserve all of it. Its one of the most popular fantasy Wuxia Donghua as well, even having an older audience base.
And no, although it feels like it, this is not the end, the preview for next episode is already out on Youtube, so will release normally and ep 158 will be out next week.

actually i’m more into silvermoon in appearance, cuteness, companionship, etc. she’s like the only rival of nangong wan and zi ling. it’s true that nangong wan is much older than han li but she’s cute and tsun. zi ling is always feeling this inexplicable attraction towards han li and her multiple encounters with han li made it firm that she wanted to be with him. she will get her wish in immortal realm for real. but sadly silvermoon or ling long is missing in immortal realm. hmm kinda wished they changed the story for this tho.. but nvm, might not be a wise decision, it’s after all a big arc. by the way, silvermoon has actually been promoted in season 3 episode 28 of RMJI, check animi-asia YT channel min 17:35 or in this site, it’s season 3 episode 24 or episode 100! yep there were 4 episode difference because those 4 are categorized as special episodes i reckon. but it’s the same, check @17:35], “Hmm.. i know duh.. why would u tell me something that’s been repeated in this comment section over and over again? i’m pretending not to know cuz i wanna enjoy the moment. like she’s confirmed to be her reincarnation in immortal world arc, when she went to reincarnation lake or wheel or something. basically she saw herself as a mortal, and that mortal turns out to be mo caihuan. yes, it was done upon the request of the fans that she’s to be the reincarnation of mo caihuan, it’s official, then immortal world arc came out. so i guess fans are strong enough to give their voice on the character they like. it’s listed in the trivia of her wiki page: Wang Ning. I’m quite a big fan so ofc I read most of the wiki and everything in the novel. that’s called popular details. what i might not know are called cryptic details. like the name of this material or the name of this demon beast that han li killed in passing or the name of this pill or the detail on how han li fights his opponent in the novel, totally forgettable, but i’ve begun to retain some of those memories. so yeah.. not to be a jerk but tell me something more interesting plz.

it’s in novel, the 2nd novel, immortal realm or immortal world arc title is the same, fanren xiuxian chuan or RMJI. the title that u can use to search is RMJI – immortal world arc or immortal realm. it’s in later part of the chapters when han li visited reincarnation palace master together with zi ling. so yeah it’s still novel stuff not yet donghua. but, i believe they will make it donghua, maybe in few years. even then, book 1 is so long like 2452 chapters (including bonus). now we only managed to reach like 642 chapters. counting –> 2452/642*157 = 599.6 ~ roughly 600 episodes before 1st book finishes. years are long lol~
All newer female characters are gorgeous in their own right. They had to make a new model for Nangong Wan which will probably be revealed in the next season.

but.. where do this donghua usually got their model from? i mean the mo caihuan model was honestly realistic. then her face got changed, i forgot why. but it totally looks like she did a plastic surgery. nangong wan old model was totally fine, they changed a bit and it’s still looking fine. so i don’t complain. now they want to change again? then comes a whole lot similar looking female outline faces. the differences can be summed by hair style, eye color, a little bit of face lines (like few inches difference which is barely noticeable), i guess lipstick counts as well.
dunno if i ever discussed this but i think i mentioned this several times. rmji donghua female models are moving forward from old standard chinese beauty to modern standard chinese beauty. in my defense, the cultural context of rmji calls for old standard chinese beauty like those old hongkong actress or old chinese actress when they’re young, it’s more plausible. the modern day chinese actress felt like having a mixed blood and different beauty standard. well this is just my own observation, who am i to pretend to be a beauty expert.. lol~

relax dude, he abandon his family for a reason, first to pursue immortality second is to protect them from han li’s enemy, i guess even tho he never visited his family after he become foundation establisment, for me it is ok ,he is not a perfect mc and that is the beauty of this story, that why every now and then he got a flashback about his family, the regret that he have over the year, maybe that is why he give the pill to the old guy that running the shop in the chaotic sea, maybe he think about his family back then and what he should do better.
for the feng xi part, this part we cannot deny that he cannot take responsibility over the genocide but you should know better right now that the world that han li is in is literally apocalypse, where they used jungle law out there, the weak will perish and the strong will stay, the resources in chaotic sea is too low compare to the tian yuan continent, human use monster core to increase their chance of breakthrough and monster use human flesh for inspiration to increase their cultivation, plus chaotic sea is the original place for monster, after a few decade human rise from monster clutch and take that area from them and almost make the demon monster extinct.
maybe you can shed light to us what childish ideologies that he had compare to other mc that only fight in their brain. han li is an opportunist and that why he is smart, he know that he is not that strong and cannot fight others but never run from fight if they want one unless the enemy is too strong

I love that his freakin heart demon is showing us all his past experiences in the early seasons, bro, sheesh!!! That was so long ago, I’m definitely rewatching this one in the near future as well, fam. Han Li knows how to keep calm in this situation. huh i checked the novel ch. 525-527 and the corresponding episode. that encounter was also mentioned as background story. that bi yun sect or jade cloud sect was a sect full of bandits located in wondrous depth island. they’re literally screaming bandit to han li even though they’re the one who aimed to take han li’s life. han li encountered them for real one time and slaughtered them using his gold devouring beetles. one of the late stage elder managed to run away and bring back the news.

I’m having a bit of an issue with this ep tho.. like for instance, why is han li called supreme elder here when joining?
i checked ch. 642 and 870. so in 642, han li joined as sect elder. here, he’s called elder in ch 642. currently cheng tiankun is grand elder, i believe here it’s called taishang zhanglao or supreme elder or grand elder, the same. actually later han li become grand elder in ch. 870 after cheng tiankun suggested that he handles that position, but han li rejected. he only accepted later after he became late stage nascent soul. so yeah elder ranking issue. i heard this has something to do with chinese background or something. but for me i know taishang is supposed to be larger than da. if da zhanglao is great elder, then taishang zhanglao is supreme elder. but i checked the original text there is only da zhanglao and zhanglao so da zhanglao is for grand elder. zhanglao is for elder, when han li first joined.
I think that is like for donghua term only fam. Whatever title they use it’s still going to be the same position either way. IDK why they have to complicate about this kind of stuff in the first place lmao.

in addition, i remembered during spirit realm arc that heart demon in spirit realm is an alien entity, not something naturally birthed from cultivator’s dao heart or something, later he even make the so-called agreement or something with an entity of heavenly devilish monarch called mo guang. imo.. heart or inner demon in nascent soul might come from him or herself for each cultivator. so yeah i felt the struggle against inner demon in this episode a bit too chill for sure. but, it doesn’t matter, they managed to promote the new insert song “The Traveler” from Wang Zhengliang! check it out in EN Someday or Made By Bilibili youtube channel.
also, there are several points that i would like to mention on my doubts when watching rmji, maybe few of them. it would be great if anyone here can enlighten me on these points below:
okay, what i mentioned here might be “flaws” or not flaws depending on viewers opinion. but, imo, even if it is a flaw, i don’t care. the way they represented the donghua as a way to do slow and firm storytelling, with many reflections on the way, many subplots of each side characters han li met along the way has totally captured my heart. moreover, their struggle is the closest to being real. i mean, mysterious green bottle might be some kind of secret supreme opportunity for han li to continue his journey and without it, han li might have died somewhere along the way since he lacked power to back himself up. but so what? who doesn’t get a miracle or two in their lives? like this is a heaven defying opportunity but he still needs to stay cautious, walking on a thin rope and risking his life in a calculated manner from time to time. this is a real and legit way to make a story that’s totally related to reality, even though it’s fictional.
All these special eps be lit in how they finesse with a new opening chapter to the mc’s next trails and tribulations

This episode was absolutely perfect, and it deserves every bit of love and praise it’s getting. 🔥✨ The Swift animation with the song was pure art 🎶, beautifully capturing Han Li’s entire journey from where he started to who he has become now, all the people he met, all the places he traveled, and every memory from the very beginning. Such a perfect way to portray the heart demon moment 😆🔥
And then that post-credits timeline gave me chills. ❄ Seeing each stage of his cultivation, the ages when he broke through every realm, from Foundation Establishment at 25 to finally reaching Nascent Soul at 217 😲, was just wow. It was really a great episode fam, i am not going to lie, i really enjoyed this episode.
Silvermoon she’s so damn cute, imagine you have a girlfriend like her, who is always caring, cheering you up and who is funny asf.
Anyway, l really liked the fact that they showed the two steps that Han Li had to pass through to overcome the heart demon.
l mean, in real life we all have heart demons inside us that’s what we call the ” dark side ” in our heart, even though we are not cultivators.
It was an important step for Han Li and really liked his answer to the question of the heart demon.
Because the heart demon was insinuating that it’s all because of the green bottle that Han Li was able to reach the place where he is right now.
Of course, the green bottle had its own role in Han Li’s life.
But you can’t deny that it’s also because of the choices that he had to make, the courage that he had to have to survive.
It can be the fate itself or a coincidence that he found the green bottle.
But like the heart demon said ” life is like a chess game ” sometimes you need to have the chance on your side or even have a coincidence to play a good move.
But fam, wasn’t that a Foreshadowing when they showed the scene with him and Nangong Wan, the 2 of them lying down together on the floor outside having the conversation of becoming dao partners ? ” Yes i know that in the novel, she is his wife ”
Even though i am not a big fan of hers, it was a nice scene.
It was funny when the heart demon summoned all the women that Han Li met during his journey and then he says ” which one do you like ” hahahaha.
l got chills when he became the great supreme elder, with everyone in the sect greeting him.
Fam, this week was great, first with Wang Lin having his clan saying farewell ancestor and now Han Li getting the greetings of the sect as the great supreme elder.
It’s really a great moment to be alive and to have such donghuas episodes.
l am greatful to be alive, in good health and to enjoy moments like these.
Ah and the summary at the end of the episode, was great too.
Because i almost forgot that Han Li saw is sister get married.

Hey guys, I’m here to torture you guys with my essay again!
Today’s episode is the other half and the true end to Han Li’s ascension to Nascent Soul. Different from last episode that’s filled with spectacle (Nascent), this episode focuses on the heart (Soul)
Let’s start with Han Li and Silvermoon’s discussion.
To summarize their dialogue because there’s not much subteties in what she said.
Han Li and the two Elders are Early Nascent Soul. They won’t be able to bully him like Fengxi and JiyinG.
If it don’t work out, Han Li can leave EASILY (ahem, the teleporting Wind Lightning Wings) and people can’t stop him.
But the merits is great.
There is a huge difference between a Freelance and Affiliated Cultivator.
Lower levels, you are subordinate, you have a boss/superior who bosses you around, combined with how toxic this Cultivator World is, there will be excessive amount of backstabbing, the demerits is greater than merits in almost all Sects. But at Nascent Soul, being affiliated to a Sect, the merit is greater. You are the boss/superior here. You are the one doing the bossing.
Furthermore, Drifting Clouds is not toxic and its disciples actually behaves LIKE ACTUAL CULTIVATORS IN MYTHOLOGY.
To avoid sounding like she’s teaching him what to do, Silvermoon says everything is due process. A minor detail here. Back in Stalwart Star Island when Han Li 1st encountered Fengxi with Qu Hun, when he manipulate the tea cup with his power, we can see his power covers the tea cup completely. But here, he lift it like a small tray. This is showing his Qi control has increased drastically. Nascent Soul is reborn to a superior version of self after all.
Now for Han Li’s flashback.
The animation team left no details untouched.
Before Han Li started breaking through to Nascent Soul, his 4 Elements Golden Core was normal.
But when Han Li got started, we can see 3 additional layers of 4 elements energies wrapped around his Core. This is the 3 Cycle Layered Essence Skill he practiced which requires him to disperse and regather his Cultivation 3 times in exchange for greatly increasing his power. One of the reasons why Han Li is innately stronger than normal.
To breakthrough to Nascent Soul, one must shatter their Golden Core, Han Li’s golden core being much stronger than normal is reflected here, many of his Sword Shadows Splitting Light Spell bounced off his Golden Core and Han Li had to shatter the Core with his fist. Foreshadowing physical… ahem ahem!
Golden Core shattering will cause immense damage to one’s body, akin to whole body fracture and all organs internal bleeding.
Han Li not only had to endure the harassment of his Inner demon, he needs to endure above mentioned physical pain. A test of physical and mental endurance.
Han Li’s inner demon took on the appearance of Han Li’s Nascent Soul reflects Han Li’s strong desire for the Realm, showing his family burned till death, him getting killed by Golden Light Monk, even his secret desire to be Dao Couple with Nangong Wan.
First time Han Li saw Nangong Wan in the cave while attempting to join the 7 Sects, she already caught his eye due to how young and beautiful she was compared to everyone present.
Nangong Wan said Han Li was disqualified because he has 4 Elements Spirit Roots. She didn’t use the derogatory “False Spirit Roots” Like he is a lesser sub-human because of his 4 Elements Spirit Root. Then they had that encounter in the Blood Grounds left a deep impression in the young virgin Han Li’s heart. (Or else, Ziling and Yuan Yao would’ve easily hijacked that place in his heart as far as the Donghua is at currently)
But truth is Han Li’s realm, spirit roots and difference in lifespan. He was Qi Refiner, 4 Elements Roots and have normal human lifespan. Nangong Wan was Core Stage, Fire Heavenly Roots and 500 years lifespan. So all Han Li can do is dream. Since Han Li’s Inner Demon is basically him, it would know and used it to try and affect Han Li.
It actually worked because Han Li’s tone went higher at the sight of his secret wish being exposed.
Then Han Li’s inner demon proceeds to keep harassing Han Li with all the beautiful girls he has encountered. Then suddenly take away the Magic Items that Han Li used to protect himself from mental attacks. Inner Demon is Han Li. Magic Items can only protect him from external dangers, this is meant to throw Han Li off.
In fact, everything so far, is to make Han Li lower his guard, thinking he is already in the Inner Demon Trial.
Silvermoon said already, Han Li by nature is an extremely thoughtful person who calculates his moves carefully. Han Li’s inner demon is Han Li. It wouldn’t be so simple and straight forward. Everything so far is just warm up.
Now the real trial starts.
Inner Demon is all about your greatest fears. For Han Li, its the Green Bottle.
Subsequently, all the scenes where Han Li went through are from 1st person, no longer from 3rd person. Watching his secret exposed and losing his Green Bottle.
We can see this when Han Li got sent to where he found the Green Bottle, he was holding the spot on the shoulder where Wen Tianren stabbed.
Then his Inner Demon proceeds to deny everything about Han Li and attribute everything to the Green Bottle.
What his Inner Demon was trying to ask is, without the Green Bottle, you are just an ordinary boy from some unknown village at the countryside. But with the Green Bottle, have you been drunk on the power and wealth it brought you? Are you sure you haven’t fallen to the Dark Side?
Han Li remembering his family, remembering how hard life was, which led to him joining 7 Mysteries Sect, he sends money back regularly and stayed in contact with his family evident from the letters. He never forgot about his initial goals, he retained clarity.
He observed people practicing martial arts techniques and trained hard to survive in the hands of Doctor Mo, he don’t want to die and only by surviving, he can continue to help his family survive in that turbulent age.
Zhang Tie’s death and from Li Feiyu, he learned how much the 7 Mysteries Sect higher ups were terrified of him, while at the same time, they were trying to think of ways to exploit and hopefully learn his secrets. Showed Han Li the darkness of the world and make him realized Immortal Cultivators and mortals are basically 2 species.
This is also why he didn’t went to say goodbye to his family when he saw his little sister getting married. Mortals is one thing, Immortal Cultivators are an even greater threat to him and his family which he learns when he joined Yellow Maple.
Yellow Maple was like a celestial realm to him initially, but quickly, he learns that they are worse than mortals. Obtaining power and drunk on power, they continued the mortals’ petty politics and selfish gains, they will not hesitate to exploit or even kill their own family just to climb the ladder higher. There’s virtually no difference from the Sith of Star Wars where every man for themselves, everyone is seeking power from the One True Emperor, except in this case its Ancestor Linghu, its only Nascent Soul who can use what is basically Time Stop.
The Heavenly Star City, symbol of power, prosperity and glory of humanity in Chaos Star Ocean is also filled with schemes and politics in the shadows.
Drifting Cloud Sect, the only one who is trying to do exactly what Cultivation teaches is heavily infiltrated, consumed and knocked down by other factions. Even among the Cloud Dreams Mountain, it is the smallest and weakest among the 3.
Han Li has seen the darkness, the facade behind all the glamor of Immortal Cultivators. It is a survival the fittest world and to survive, he had to know when and how to be a predator that’s more cunning than any other predators and preys, he also needs to know when and how to be a prey that’s more cunning than any predators and other preys.
Notice the Eye Blinking Sword Arts book in Teen Han Li’s hands and the one held by Adult (Cultivator) Han Li. They are different, there’s even a small ‘Han’ at the bottom of the Book’s title. Indicating that despite becoming a mighty Cultivator, Han Li continued to improve the Skill to fit his current level.
Han Li did not look down on Mortals and in his free time, improved it. This also tally with the recent 3 Sects’ Sword Tournament where they say Han Li seems to know a little of everything, even used Mortal Martial Arts to kick Cultivators’ asses.
This cannot work if we are using techniques used in against mortals. If Han Li never gave up mortal martial arts and even made improvements to it also explains why he was able to completely own the Chief Guard, a mortal martial artist who is highly adept at fighting Umbra Beasts in the Umbra Realm
And explains why Han Li was basically trashing Wen Tianren around even though WTR knows mortal martial arts. Han Li has been improving Mortal Martial Arts for him to deal with other Cultivators. Knowing how cautious Han Li is, he probably also accounted for situations where he had to fight Cultivators who knows martial arts and can’t use his powers.
This also show that despite becoming a high and mighty Nascent Soul Cultivator, Han Li never forget his past. He stood proud and continued on with equal or greater humility as everything he experienced made him into the man he is today. He kept all the lessons close to his heart without allowing any darkness taint his core.
Even though the Green Bottle can give him materials and weath, even though he faced countless darkness, he did not become darkness. He is still the boy who left home to provide for his family, the boy who kept walking towards the light despite all the distractions of darkness along the way, and in doing so, he became the Light for others.
This is particularly obvious with Wen Qiang, Wen Siyue’s dad, then Wen Siyue and then in this season, there’s even more examples
Just ask the Gongsun girl from the start of this Season, Mei Ning, Yuan Yao and Ziling.
Particularly Yuan Yao, he practically went 150% against Wen Tianren to help her, no regrets. He could’ve taken advantage of Yuan Yao’s vulnerability and ravish her. But Han Li was so thorough in maintaining that true friendship that he evaded her hug -> Dudes should know this, at that situation, a guy is probably not going to be able to hold back and start humping her if he gets hugged like that.
Then continue to act gentlemanly towards Mei Ning and Ziling. To the point where even though Ziling clearly understands the logic, she couldn’t help but want to be with Han Li despite the dangers of being a bigger target together.
Nonetheless, Han Li never got drunk on power and wealth that’s only possible with the Little Green Bottle. Besides, Great Transformation Skill created by his Enemy, Later Friend & Mentor Divine Lord Dayan prepared him very well for this and he had experience dealing with similar things in Void Palace and against Wen Tianren’s Formation, namely the Death Gate.
In the end, after about 200 years, at the age of 217, Han Li becomes Nascent Soul and now stands at the top of the Mortal Realm’s Cultivator Society.

Silvermoon was holding the Intelligent Rabbit in cage and talking to Han Li about Void Heavens Cauldron, reminding him that it held the likes of Hollow Blue Ice Flames (Used by Xuan Gu who thought he’s invincible when he got it and got wrecked by Han Li)

so i checked again and see the scene han li walking and scenery changes kinda backward. it’s drifting cloud sect – fengle – yellow maple valley – seven mysteries sect. i mean, what is fengle? i don’t remember…
well nice point there on mei ning and zi ling. i just remembered the moment when he rejected mei ning as a concubine, telling her to cultivate and pursue independence and self-growth, in this case cultivate to core formation realm. he even gave her an initial asset. he said that it could be 100 years or more to reach yuanying. but now? it’s only been 20 years! and he’s gonna take another concubine soon! the one that blindsided him for real. if mu peiling didn’t scam han li, i suppose with his character he will never take a concubine. and yet while dreaming about nangong wan, he delays meeting her until she’s in actual danger of being taken away from him forever. noice. so relatable.
I mean he didn’t wanted to. But Mu Peiling made the situation impossible for him to remedy without causing more confusion and also if he comes out to recitify, it’ll ruined his reputation and Mu Peiling will be in serious trouble. Like super screwed.
So he allowed her to be his concubine.
Han Li didn’t delay meeting Nangong Wan. He didn’t know where she is until he heard that she’s being forced to marry someone else.
Remember, the reason why Han Li didn’t take Ziling, Yuan Yao, Mei Ning, Song Yu, get a harem left and right is because he sees Nangong Wan as his Wife and wants to respect her wishes.
EXTREME SPOILERS: In the epilogue, Ziling and Yuan Yao are with Han Li because Nangong Wan said yes.
nope, sorry shixiong but I tend to disagree with you, I checked ch. 715 (titled “Heart Restraint Technique”) and found this passage:
so because of hesitation, he delayed meeting her. what did he first do when reaching nascent soul stage? what i remember is: exterminating fu clan, gifting his descendants a gold devouring sword that can be used for 3 times, forming second nascent soul, raising snow centipedes and completed the refinement celestial ice flames, cang kun treasury hunt with marquis nanlong. i mean he did so many things here as a nascent soul stage elder, why can’t he collect information on nangong wan asap from various channels? but i guess this is also the part of the plot so han li is strong enough to beat mid nascent soul expert before going to masked moon sect.
It was only after meeting Lei Wanhe and hearing news from the Tang cultivator of the Masked Moon Sect, who accompanied Lei Wanhe, that he finally decided to visit. He could have inquired earlier, but with so many things happening, the matter only surfaced in his mind much later. My impression is that he deliberately/instinctively delayed, driven by a subconscious fear of not being accepted.

The immense pain equivalent to whole body fractured and all internal organs bleeding is an established fact. Plus immediately after Han Li shattered his Core, he was holding a Taoist Hand Sign that signifies Pure Yang, Healing, Soothing and Calmness indicating he was attempting to minimize the pain.
Until his Inner Demon started acting for real, Han Li maintained meditating position.
As for the Foreshadowing, it has to do with Manhu Zi.
The 3 Cycle skills’ 3rd Cycle was not mentioned in the novel. This has to do with real life. Initially, the author Wang Yu wanted Han Li to fail breakthrough to Core Stage after the 2nd Cycle and reaching 3rd Level of Great Transformation Skill and then finish his 3rd Cycle. But the author was receiving letters with razors by furious fans.
So he pushed Han Li’s breakthrough forward and we have to accept that Han Li finished his 3rd Cycle somewhere because the Author wanted Han Li to have the 3rd Cycle and progresses as if he did have the 3rd cycle.
As for Drifting Clouds not toxic. I’m talking about in general. Not absolutely an entire organization have no douchebags. This is unrealistic expectation. Much like Yellow Maple in general is toxic but Han Li’s Master Li Huayuan and his fellow Disciple Siblings aren’t exactly toxic like the rest.
As for Nangong Wan. Up till now, all his life, Han Li prioritize Cultivation more than Nangong Wan. He only thinks of their relationship when he meets her. This has been a norm. So not knowing where she is and her current situation is a viable reason for Han Li. Unless he hears something bad happens to Nangong Wan, he wouldn’t think of her. Nangong Wan understands this about HL and that’s why their relationship can last, well, she’s his first love so there’s that too.
Wang Yu himself also stated that the reason why Han Li rejected so many girls is because he respects Nangong Wan as his wife and cares about her feelings. This is why he only take Ziling and Yuan Yao after she said yes. This is Author’s Words, don’t come and ask me. If you want, go ask him.
Another thing to note:
The part where Han Li thinks he didn’t make inquiry about Nangong Wan because he was afraid of not being accepted is what he thinks.
But we have a lot of evidence, prime example is how Han Li operates. Unless people he cares needs help or are in trouble, unless they are within his line of sight, he tend to forget them and focus on Cultivation. This has been consistent with Han Li. So it isn’t as if there aren’t any evidence to show that Han Li is wrong about his own affairs showing that he is still human, he can feel uncertainty.
As for the 樂丰 Le Feng/Feng Le sign on what seems to be entrance into a district in a city, I know the words means abundance harvest, people are safe and happy. In other words, it means prosperity or reaping rewards. But don’t really remember where is it. It can even mean Han Li is now reaping the rewards after hardship.
About the 3 Cycle Skills, if you really want to be specific.
This Skill was found together with his Green Essence Sword Skill (Azure or whatever you want to call it, I don’t care). It was meant to be trained together with the Sword Skill.
When practitioner reach a certain level, they are supposed to disperse the Green Essence Energy of the Sword Skill, losing Cultivation Levels as a result and retrain to get even stronger and also increase the chances of reaching Core Stage. It was initially designed by the author to help Han Li achieve Core Stage. Fans couldn’t wait, so he push it forward.
But since it is just dispersing the Green Essence Power and Han Li don’t need to drop down to Qi Refiner (It was just freak accident that Nangong Wan drained him dry while unconscious)
Supporting evidence: Han Li only needed to drop to Foundation Early Stage for his 2nd Cycle. So it’s quite easy to see that sometime between him reaching Core and during Core Stages, Han Li probably did his 3rd Cycle. Or they say Han Li spent 20 years preparing for Nascent Soul, he could’ve done the 3rd Cycle in that 20 years because it is clear that his Core has 3 thick layers of 4-Elements Spirit Power covering it in the episode. So him completing all 3 Cycles is pretty much confirmed

well there’s that too. i confirmed that i have read related passage about this. this is discussed just after the passage i copied above. but i still felt that he delayed subconsciously according to his character and dao heart, which turns out to be in tune with nangong wan’s character and dao heart. so i guess everything goes well and ends well. can’t say i have the authority to judge han li on this particular decision. after all, it resulted in an exciting bout to suppress that evil senior sister of his wife.

I say Han Li probably forget rather than being afraid to face his relationship with Nangong Wan because when he mentioned he might have been afraid of rejection, the words he used was uncertain. He wasn’t certain if he was afraid of rejection or not.
We can also see from the episodes that Han Li only think about Nangong Wan when she shows up in his face. When he is alone or with others, his focus are completely on Cultivation. It has also been established time and again that he is devoted to Cultivation beyond anything else.
