So this is Han Li back where he was born! Interesting new faces. The local “goddess” is lovely, nice to see a female face that wasn’t made from the same mould as all the others lol. And I like the sword guy 😁 Hope he doesn’t turn out a scumbag, my heart would break xD
It’s time to suffer my presence again
At present Han Li should be over 200 years old (Wang Ning/Ziling a little over 100 and Mei Ning is a Qi Refiner so she should be like 20s at best)
Interesting enough, you can see the massive difference between Han Li and Ziling.
Ziling put a spell (Buff) on Mei Ning to help her fly. Han Li didn’t bring out his Luxurious Ride (Wind Thunder Wings) already prove that he is holding back and not flying as fast as he can and then he puts a buff on Mei Ning to further augment her speed.
Even then, both Ziling and Mei Ning couldn’t keep up with him, finally Han Li had to catch both girls and use the Wings.
It is too fast for peaked athletics or actual Fighter Pilots because Mei Ning had recovered her powers, she’s superhuman now, yet you can tell that she didn’t realized when they landed. Han Li with the Wings is too fast for the absolute strongest humans.
Although when we look at Ziling also needed a pause to realized they got out. (She did reacted faster than Mei Ning). That difference is very minor at a glance, but if we examine it closer, this is actually a very decisive difference: Mortals Martial Artist really don’t stand a chance against Cultivators even if they don’t specialize in Martial Arts
Back in Umbra Realm, you can see Yan Li is still ghostly, so when they say the Resurrection Spell failed, it isn’t a surprise. Yan Li’s expression looked like she is filled with guilt. She probably wants to die and hope that Yuan Yan can restore or re-cultivate her Golden Core, and not because Yan Li needs to cultivate Ghost Path and Yuan Yao gives up everything and start anew in Ghost Path.
Yuan Yao use her actions to convince Yan Li: She just say her Golden Core is beyond repair, Ghost Cultivation is also her only way out, then Yuan Yao putting out the candles and relighting them is also to tell Yan Li that they still have hope. After all, Yan Li has been dead for a long time while Yuan Yao survived alone until Core Stage, she and Yan Li are on a different level, even if Yuan Yao lost her Core.

The 9 Nations Alliance: Yellow Maple Valley, after getting their asses whooped by the Demonic Sects with the other Sects and abandoned Han Li and others, went to join this Alliance. They are constantly being harassed by the Witchdoctors from the Grasslands/Plains
The Demonic Faction: Smiley dude based on novel is probably Hehuan Master, currently a Nascent Soul late stage.
Let’s talk about the 3 Sects recruitment ads banners.
Fallen Clouds (Luoyun) Sect
Says that as long as you are not afraid of hardship that comes with Immortal Cultivation and can pass through the obstacles test we set up, we are willing to take you in, regardless of your talents and background.
Ancient Sword Sect
We only accept those who are good with Swords. Best is you are a badass who can 1v100 HEMA World Champions. Then we make you go super saiyan and can 1 Nuke KO 1 million HEMA World Champions so hard, they resurrect from death and die again. Joking aside, they are Sword fighting Elites.
Hundred Skills Sect
Says they only accept those who knows Magic Tools crafting (Tools Refining) and are skilled in magic spells.
Han Li doesn’t just qualifies for any of the 3. He overkills so hard, all 3 Sects will die and resurrect 3 times in a row.
Then Han Li’s immense “Seems to be Nascent Soul” God… 8th Sense so powerful, it felt more like 9th Sense noticed something’s wrong.
I figured out the Bald Man was probably testing Ziling and Mei Ning at the end, when he respectfully gave his Sect’s ‘Name Card’
But didn’t expect it was all 3 Elders testing. The girl came out to protect the Bald guy because due to her ‘Special Talents’ she is able to detect Han Li’s God Sense and realized he’s really upset with the Bald guy.
Basically, they know a lot of foreign Cultivators, maybe even Nascent Souls have appeared in their country. They see Ziling and Mei Ning, these two unfamiliar faces, especially Ziling is a Core Stage Cultivator, she’s already a walking tactical nuke level threat. So the Bald Guy is just trying to find out if they are spies.
He purposely use Tiannan mortal language. As established in an earlier episode in previous Season when Han Li was taking a boat in Chaos Star Seas, Cultivators has a Universal language while mortal languages varies between places.
Since Ziling and Mei Ning don’t know their language, they look even more like spies to the dude. Ziling more or less figured out what the Bald guy is trying to do and secretly put a buff on Mei Ning so she can run faster if a fight breaks out
The moment the Bald guy prepares to attack to capture Ziling and Mei Ning, Song Yu from Fallen Clouds appears to save the Hundred Skills Sect Bald Guy from Han Li
Bald guy immediately saying Song Yu has special gifts is to tell what seems to be Nascent Soul (Han Li) that she can detect your Godly Senses and killer intent, also to hint that she’s valuable to Fallen Clouds and if Han Li kills them, he will most likely incur the wrath of Fallen Clouds and offend Hundred Skills Sect.
Then Bai Haozi, from Ancient Sword Sect appears. Sword Cultivators possesses high combat capabilities. He appears to bicker with Bald guy to show that their (sects) relationship is good. Picking a fight with either one, is good as fighting all 3.
And shows respect to Ziling and Mei Ning before they left.
Then it turns out, the 3 of them were probably patrolling the streets. It seems like there’s a possible threat of a Nascent Soul, this is why the 3 Sects sent out 3 Late Core Stages to look out for spies and trouble.
Next Episode, Han Li will separate with Ziling and Mei Ning.
Han Li is currently at Peak Core Stage… no, more accurately, he’s more like an actual False Nascent Soul.
He is preparing to breakthrough to Nascent Soul.
Han Li says he needs to find a place with high Spirit Qi density and sets his eyes on the 3 Great Sects: Ancient Sword, Fallen Clouds and Hundredth Skills.
Han Li will keep low profile because if he shows up as False Nascent Soul, imagine someone who is at least twice as strong as Song Yu (Fallen Clouds), Bald Guy (100Skills) and Bai Haozi (Sword)? But Han Li is more like 4~5x stronger and can solo all 3 of them?
He’ll be given Elder Position and a lot of responsibilities no matter which Sect he joins and he won’t be able to breakthrough to Nascent Soul.

Han Li’s conversation with Ziling and Mei Ning also shows a massive difference between him and most other Cultivators.
He is the strongest among the 3, so he went forward to take the lead and also based on the fucked up Cultivators’ Cultures, they probably won’t reject his offer. So he use a very polite tone and choose respectful words. This has become a constant for Han Li, just look at how the dude treats the Gongsun girl becoming his servant at the start of this season, helping Wen Siyue, Madam Fan and refusing to take even the slightest advantage of Yuan Yao, Bruh was utterly thorough.
Han Li blowing the dandelions shows how Han Li’s life has been. Constantly drifting and now, he’s finally back at Tiannan. It also shows Ziling, I’ll be frank with you. Some may consider this as a spoiler. But since the Director already say the word…
Ziling IS Mo Caihuan, she loves Han Li so much, she punched Reincarnation in the face and reincarnated as Ziling. Hence, it also shows how even though Mo Caihuan is no more, she has returned to Tiannan as Ziling.
