Yeah, that should’ve been it though but it said he was killed by a dagger to the neck. Welp, at the end of the day no matter he still got killed, which is deserved. I guess our boi did the finishing touch.

Yeah, that was what it was said I guess they just made it look like Han Li did the finishing blow on him.
Wang Ning is not involved in the fight in the novel. The fight is finished almost instantly by first having Han Li throwing a short sword, which hit that guy’s armor and then follow up with throwing one more short sword and making it returned like a boomerang using the string. The sword then pierce through from the back of the neck to the front, ending his life.
The studio add the Wang Ning scene, probably to make it more believable that Han Li will trust Wang Ning at that moment.
I mean they kind of already know each other fam. Even I was curious to know why she did that. But I think it had something to do about her being one of his “Enslaved Concubine” who had like special constitution.
The donghua adds a lot of details and make Wang Ning a fuller character and tries to strengthen her relationship with Han Li at every opportunity which are good adaptation and changes.
IIRC, in the novel, Han Li and Wang Ning only has business related relationship between them at this point.

Anyone know how long till Han Li goes to a new region or atleast return to his original region? It would be more in line with Han Lis cautious nature to simply leave since there’s little left to gain but still lots of strong enemies in that region.

They say enemies often meet up I guess it’s true of all the possible ways to die here it just had to be by mc hand their first fight too up to two episodes this second one took at least half the episode despite them being mortals can’t these be considered the best fight since the start of the donghuaAlso I think his spearmanship was better it’s just that he had to be up against the mc dude is stronger no matter the weapon he’s using

Lastly am I the only one that thinks these guys death was a bit out of place honestly I want him to die more than anyone but I feel like he should have died during their first fight I also thought that during this fight they would come to an agreement of some sort to work together to go out and then after that maybe the mc would kill or trick him anyone I shaa was trying to predict his plot what are the probabilities that he’s still somehow alive
Han won’t leave any antagonist alive who knows his true identity and how he fights. Further, Wen was antagonistic to everyone and made enemies easily when in fact he needed to make many friends to support him and his need for revenge. The only chance Wen is still alive is if the magic power from the portal dropped down far enough to envelope him, as we know he could regenerate somewhat from damage. This would depend on how far he was from the top of the mountain when the portal opened. On this website the translation says only a few “days” passed from the guy’s death until the team reached the peak and the portal opened. If accurate I see some possibility of survival. On a different website, however, the translation said a few months passed from the guy’s death until Han’s team reached the peak. If the latter is accurate then I see no chance of survival.

Scam Li aka Han Li had no chance of wining neither in the first or last- The first fight which scam Li JUST GAIN LATE CORE formation status and his weapon not refine how could he had won? whether in Treasure or skill WT overwhelmed him!!!!
As for the final show down where did Scam Li gain those skills? lol, back with Doctor Mo he only practice an unfinished martial art skill which was basic due to it being incomplete before the creator died- not even the school worst fighter practice it.. for scam li to finished it? impossible, because only a mortal could. WT had the best of the best martial art training from birth so its comical that scam Li had the upper hand.

Also in this episode, Wen Tianren may appears to put up a lot more fight against Han Li than the novel. The reality is their difference is just as great, if not even greater than Novel. Just look at how Han Li was able to slash Wen on the same spot multiple times.
They only allow Wen to put up more fight because they want to show the difference when 2 Cultivators fight without Immortal Magic. Previous fight with Village Chief Guard, Han Li easily control the environment because Mortals don’t have 6th, 7th and 8th Senses (if Nascent Soul, then there’s even the 9th one). So Han Li can easily make the guy confused
This time, you can see Han Li tries the same, it didn’t work on Wen. Han Li had to use his superior base physical abilities and internal strength (Chi) to overpower him with strength, speed and skill.
