Yes, all nascent soul cultivators can escape by leaving their body behind and all nascent souls has the ability to teleport hundreds of meters at a time. This is the reason why Nascent Soul cultivators of different factions rarely battle each other (background setting) and choose other means to settle the difference. Easy to win the battle but extremely hard to totally kill….until MC comes into the picture.
yes also the disadvantage of the nascent soul entering a new body is that their cultivation will stagnate and won’t be as good as previous, because this also weakens the nascent soul.

As was said already, Nascent Soul can evacuate the body and move extremely far distances in almost an instant but it’s not teleportation, it’s just extreme superspeed. In order to kill a Nascent Soul Cultivator you have to kill the nascent soul at the same time before it leaves the body which only very few in mortal realm can do, or techniques that can capture the nascent soul before it escapes like barriers, seals, or … a net around the body that they run into :D. It can possess another body but it’s best if it’s a really compatible body. Or if the body has a very special constitution which is even rarer and not worth the time you have to take to fully control the body which for Nascent Soul I think it takes like 20-200 years and the more compatible the lesser the time. You have to fully control the body to get back to properly cultivating so it’s why they prefer their own.
As for the magic tool/treasure that it escaped on, it’s kind of a translation issue but Nascent Souls can’t take anything with them that the body has when they escape except their soul bound magic treasure that the cultivator either made themselves, had made by a master artisan, or acquired and bound themselves to- typically made themselves around core formation stage as they put their own essence in the creation to know it intimately and it rests inside near their core and eventually with the nascent soul always being nurtured by nascent soul flames. It is why bound magic treasures when damaged or broken causes the cultivator to get severely hurt and spit up blood. If damaged or broken it can be nurtured inside the body for a while and repair/heal even when broken, but not if destroyed. Also, bound weapons when stolen only allow the user to use like 30-80% of it’s full power and never more. That’s why people don’t go around stealing bound weapons.
Han Li’s bound weapon would be his 72 Cloudswarm Devilbane-Lightning Bamboo Swords.
The Mu guy Han Li beat told the rest of the Mulan people that Han Li wasn’t to be underestimated and defeated him in less than an incense breath, but most importantly that he had some strange technique that was colder than Artic Ice Arts, could burn through barrier techniques, and a Nascent Soul body would be burned if not cut off the body part. He was talking about the Celestial Ice Flames Han Li been cultivating from the Heavenvoid Cauldron that he got from the Heavenvoid Hall in the Sea of Stars. If you remember, even mid-stage nascent soul cultivators feared it and said 1 touch could kill even them.

Been locked in since Episode 01 and dang, loving every bit of journey through. And now I’m seeing him becoming more domineering after all these years of running, hiding and been on alert. MJTI- is just on the different level to other donghuas, The story, the Vibe the Visual effect the details. Man not disappointed one bit.
This donghua is just amazing. the details and depth they give to characters here, which to others’ dismay make it not as fast paced as they would’ve liked, is missing in others. Plus the animation quality is top notch. Its the only one I eagerly await week after week

I don’t know if the definition of ‘having a chat’ had changed, but Han Li’s method of chatting definitely has evolved to include a LOT of pointy objects.
Being able to outfight a near middle Nascent level cultivator at his level is pretty impressive. Maybe it’s just me, but I honestly feel like the Mulan cultivators are slightly stronger than the Tiannan cultivators.

That Bell was Wen Tianren that was use against Han Li in their fight but the donghua left it out. A lot of WT his treasure wasn’t used or shown in the Donghua.
So i mention on Reddit how the Donghua misrepresented Wen Tianren.. both the Novel and Manga made WT and HL fight a draw due to him being the MC, but in truth HL was not even close to being his match due to many reasons. HL Treasures wasn’t refined and weren’t effective on cultivators above the Mid core formation and WT was Peak Core Formation, HL said it himself.
If it wasn’t for the Ghost Fog appearing and dragging them into the umbra small realm HL would’ve been killed!!. The author took everything into consideration and the way WT was killed in the Novel/Manga a quick dagger to the neck made sense because that’s the only way HL could killed him realistically.
WT -was a heir to the Six path and had countless treasure and techniques+ higher cultivation + similar spiritual sense strength and much more top class cultivation arts.
The Donghua making HL magically having martial skills was the most hilarious. HL only studies medicine under Dr Mo in his youth, and he self taught a few week/month Blink sword style which was incomplete due to the fact the creator died before completion and the main point is once you start to have Qi you cannot practice it anymore. Sooooo where did HL magically gain those martial skills? lol.
I Just dislike how the Donghua made a timed and cautious HL suddenly became this overconfident and arrogant personality overnight while fighting WT. In reality he was SUPER nervous the entire fight.
