Qin Mu is just enjoying his time here fam. We can all see it he is learning a lot of new stuff. hmm.. i’ve just returned and reread the part where qin mu broke through into five elements realm. at that time, he’s trying to access the fire god and other gods inside his five elements treasury. but he got injured. he’s not that chill while using prescription. he fainted. he was taken care by those ladies but when he woke up he corrected them and tell them they’re lacking some herbs. he’s injured his spirit so, there’s no way he’s so energetic.
he’s using calculation to locate the five elements treasure vault in his body, corresponding to the stars. he’s definitely not dancing and playing music during the wall break through. not sure why they changed things like this. hmm.

I’ve read and watched my fair share of rank up scenes across Japanese, Korean, and Chinese web novels, manga/manhwa/manhua, anime, and donghua. Over time, level ups in most of them started to feel generic and repetitive.. Very few could still manage to excite me. But this one?
Not the best yet, but definitely one of the most outstanding rank up moments I’ve encountered! The way it blended elements of nature, celestial bodies, art, and music with themes of inner peace, personal demons, and the pursuit of balance to ascend to the next level was simply exquisite.
I absolutely need to read the web novel if there is one, just to see how such a scene was captured in writing. Paired with stunning visuals, it was just… breathtaking.

You should! The web novel is actually best in genre, not many read it because of the translation issue, but those who did, will always put it on par with Lotm or Reverend Insanity. It has insane world building and character development. Like the village elders would remain relevant for almost 70% of story even when MC becomes almost the strongest in his universe and started solving the universes mysteries.
The only donghua/novel above and better than this novel is Sword of Coming, which is on the league of its own. I’d recommend both.
