Damn, still sad that we get to see what happened to the Goddess of Love herself fam. Even a beautiful woman such as herself got betrayed, a very messed up fate for her. And now we have a new chapter in someone else’s story. SL2 going through that SL1 experience, like father and mother going through the same shit they went through. Ngl, the music they used was a banger but it does give off that sad feeling to it.
So true that Tang San is so powerless in this state cause he’s already a God King and can’t interfere with mortal problems. It’s a good thing that we will see him again in SL5 but that’s like a very long time.
Well, everyone has to go through something crazy in their life fam and this is like one of those moments. Tang San went through this kind of ordeal. And it’s funny that he is blaming it on Riyue Empire and Holy Soul Sect, as far as we’ve seen. If they didn’t enter that crazy ass forest fam they wouldn’t even be in that situation. You can only blame fate for that one Huo Yuhao and I guess the consequences of what they did, meaning it could also be karma.
I still love the fact that they have an Angel user in their sect bro. If feels different when they have her as an ally sheesh!!! See, this is the consequences of their actions, getting people involved when they weren’t even in on it. Sigh, we have ourselves a war arc coming fam. Douluo Dalu will never be peaceful even after 10k years, conflict will always find it’s way to someone’s door step.

Its nice to see Angle bloodline on the right side of things after 10k years. Her Ancestors needed to make a mends for the messed up [but albeit helpful push for TS] situation that they caused in the og continent

I’ve watched many donghua and read their corresponding manhua, but I have to say—Soul Land‘s donghua and manhua are the worst. The original Soul Land was decent, but Peerless Tang Sect is absolutely terrible. There’s no real character development, and the plot is practically nonexistent—just a repetitive love triangle stretched over everything.
I’ve watched over 100 episodes hoping for something better, especially because I liked Soul Land 1. But Soul Land 3 and Soul Land 4 are just the same: poor development, weak storytelling, and disappointing characters.
hard disagree, SL2 and SL3 are vastly superior, but to each their own i guess. i dislike the manhuas too, light novels were pretty decent tho. and well if you are disappointed with those installments then 5 might be even worse for you… but i do also believe soul land has a great premises, martial souls, but that potential gets lost with vast number of plot holes, the author’s narcissism bleeding into the works, and the poor characters’ development, side characters are barely touched in this series.
