But they have that next problem on their hands, I’m already expecting it’s gonna happen in this episode, the part with Fairy Caiyun. The sacrifice she is about to make for Jiang Taixu to bring him back to life.
The fact that she’s willing to die for him shows their relationship was something else. He is lucky to have her bro, she’s a loyal woman until the end. It is still crazy to me though that it took this long to revive him, no freaking shortcuts at all they had to wait those hours. No wonder she had to do it. I guess it was to speed up the process somewhat. But damn, she did it fam. And behold, God King Jiang Taixu has been revived!!! 🔥🔥🔥

well, other than the episode being incomplete for me bcs a lot of factors, I agree that the story moment that’s built for Caiyun is quite good for these 1 episode, 2 if you count several seconds of last episode as well. bro, there’s this misunderstanding that god king or divine king is a name of a cultivation realm. nope, I think it’s a representation of absolute strength in his generation, I suppose. He’s at least third heaven peak of Immortal Platform realm. Dao Severing or Supreme King realm.
His fight wasn’t as easy as described in donghua, compared to the novel. He used a lot of life force. That Eventide, his masked enemy, is also at the same realm. They call him Eastern Barren Divine King (Donghuang shenwang), it’s probably bcs he was able to break through Supreme King or sever dao despite the fact the world is imperfect. There’s a barrier of cultivation. This barrier was half-broken by Azure (Green) Emperor of demon race. Wasn’t it said that, there has been no human sage risen in Beidou for several last thousand years? Like the appearance of old madman who was missing 6000 years ago gives them a shock that such an expert (ancient sage, great saint level) is still alive.
in my opinion, his strength is already at the barrier of Saint, he’s at least half-saint and probably he has divine restriction, like battle power that surpasses 9 layers. This is just a speculation, but I think with his level, he could probably do this. And later, he will cut more and more of his life, even just to help Ye Fan broke through Four Pole realm. That’s why YF owes him a lot. Anyways, it’s indeed epic, I love how they showcase Fairy Caiyun, but they simplified his healing process, simplified his battle process and those tensions are missing imo.

Ye Fan wouldn’t know that his “immortal” furnace (that was picked up in Origin Ancient Mine0 can resonate with Heng Yu (Eternal Universe) Emperor furnace of Jiang family without Jiang Taixu telling him. Here’s another so-called genius plot. They truly tried to make Ye Fan with so-much knowledge and skills in the early story. This is way too much. The studio is way too serious in trying to shorten the story. There’s a lot of lost element here which I personally thought is important.

Just about caught up to where YF looks for Tingting. What I like is the author has pinned down our boys age between 15-16 years. Would have loved if that has been properly represented on screen all this time instead of YF being the age he was back on Earth.
yeah, he is indeed biologically 16 years old after consuming that fruit in desolate forbidden area. he’s almost 30 though originally. he should be like a freakin’ teenager in appearance. he looks like a young man in his 20s just few seconds after going out of forbidden area. the fruit effect is way too bad in donghua. there’s a lot missed i guess, I think that Eventide guy wasn’t defeated so easily. I mean it only takes couple shots in this episode. Plus, they forgot Jiang Yi, the bandit!
