Yea Wednesdays used to be amazing, it seems Tuesday nights have dropped off a cliff in the streaming services. So many shows that we love that could get either a new series or extra episode a week and they would more then make up the costs in the advertising/subs, from the domestic market.
I wonder how Tuesdays ended up like this. Sadly i stopped watching AWE, sometimes back in s5 i think im not to sure, when i missed like 6 months or more of it, and didnt want to have to try catch up because of terrible mtl before i found Boss Xin and his epic work for us guys.
I mean even Stellar Transformation I haven’t gotten to go back and watched it as well. Now that they got a hiatus, I still didn’t touch on watching it from the beginning again. But I know I will eventually since that one had some crazy action in it as well.

Ye Fan getting VIP access in meeting the God King of the Ji Family. The fact that he just gave them the Dragon Pearl without hesitation hahaha. Indeed our boi is one of the goody toe shoes MC that pays it forward, since like he said he was saved by the God King so he had to at least give back something. By doing that we know he will be getting blessings in return, who knows someone will give him an insane treasure for doing a good deed.
3 hours feels like a whole week if you ask me, and the troublemakers arrive just in the most craziest time. It’s definitely not a coincidence, it’s been written that way by the writer so they have to defend the place so the God King can revive and get his full strength back. They gotta put some intense moments in these stories to make them interesting to watch. Also, they are lucky that Ye Fan is with them, our boi has knowledge that’s out of this world.
But of course, more of them appeared hahaha. And they said 2 hours left sheesh!!! We already know it’s a hyping episode so the next one will be where the craziness and revival of God King Jiang Taixu happens. Welp, at least Ye Fan gave us an awesome action moment against those 3 corpses. And all hail a beautiful woman appears at the end.

When i saw him say 3 hours, my first though was holy crap thats a long time for people to cause trouble. Its funny in wuxia 1 minute [and in real life] can be a really really long time given the speeds people move at, But on the flip side 100 years can be a really really short amount of time too.

Ye Fan is a bit too arrogant by revealing himself early, whether it is his identity or his ‘battle’ secret character, together with his ‘yuantianshu’. In the novel he got nine drops of that dragon immortal medicine, but it seems that he got the pearl here so he can substitute it. And they said he got 3 methods in the novel. Even then, Jiang Taixu was very weak, needing his lover to come and save him. the only thing that seems particularly according to the original story is that whip can beat up those four ghosts. after all, their body is dead and only their divine sense is alive, bcs they ate that netherworld grass. did they explain that in this episode? or maybe next?
That’s right, let alone many details that are removed, the plot order is even reversed, the characters are reduced, and many of Ye Fan’s original abilities or treasures are removed. This is what makes me quite disappointed with the production team, which makes me comment that it is natural that many people criticize and judge our MC as weak
Not sure if mc looks weak. he looks way too strong in comparison to the original character or at least appear strong. I mean, everything becomes one man show, while it’s supposed to be teamwork. well, ofc mc has his own strength moments. but honestly, revealing too many abilities at this moment is pointless and dangerous. that dragon pearl was overrated. like they’re too tired to use three methods in donghua and want to cut off production time or animation cost. it’s not a good one.

Jiang family although lets face it were buttholes in the starting arcs, it was mostly through just the usual big families not wanting to look weak to free cultivators and exploration of the mountain. The Ji family should learn its better to not antagonise YF esp. given that one of their little princesses love him, and he loves her.
Side note: 3 hours is actually 6 hours, 2 hours is 4 hours… Chinese uses a time unit of 2 hours..
