If AnimeXin has its own internal chat system, it preserves every comment forever. Sites like HiAnimé that use their own, or the new AnimeSuge that started theirs recently, among many others, never lost a single chat: the threads on the longest running sites go back years.
Idk how pricey that is but if you plan on keeping up the site for the long term, it’s worth the investment. It will keep and bring people who want to interact with the community.
STH has a great episode 108. The action is awesome, but Ye Fan is looking way too arrogant and doesn’t consider big picture. It’s just lacking two things:
1. They mentioned at the end that Jiang Tingting gave Ye Fan Eternal Universe Scripture – Four Poles Volume, but… I don’t remember such a scene. I mean it happened in the novel, but they can’t just skip it by saying it, right? It’s always cool to have a scripture scene~
2. Why would Ye Fan need to tell Uncle and Tingting about his plan to send news to Jiang family? And why would he do things like this? He just needed to ask someone else to send the jade/letter. How come Jiang Yichen is so smart, Ye Fan has source technique, he can disguise himself from a lowly being like Jiang Yichen. Plus, why the hell, is Ye Fan, showing off, the battle secret technique to Jiang Yichen? He’s not going to be killed but suppressed, so it’s not a wise decision. He’s gonna blabbermouth about this as consequences. Ye Fan could’ve disguised his techniques too. In the novel, Ye Fan was able to keep this a secret until he was Four Pole or Dragon Transformation realm.
I won’t mention the fact that he replaced five jades in novel (to imprint the battle secret word) into multiple papers. It was supposed to be a short letter, a map and a jade in each letter. Then, he asked five low-level cultivators to send a letter to Jiang family. It’s fine, I guess. In novel ch. 356, he only used the cauldron, the sword, the chakram and the whip to fight. he didn’t even use any technique. they really put that lowly yichen too highly imo. sorry for bad language. haha~
This is honestly a low-level mistake that could be avoided, why changing the plot that’s already good and mess up things? So, I think they want to shorten and mix the plot and twist some things but ended up screwing other things? Anyways, Idk about that. Great animation, but plot wise, I can hardly agree.
So, if I understand correctly, they want to make things complicated by preventing the news of Jiang Divine King arriving to the center of Jiang family. But I don’t see the merit in that. While it’s true that there are spies, after missing a long time (was it 4000 years?), their operation must have halted somewhat. How come the timing is so right as if they know Jiang Taixu didn’t die in Purple Mountain? It’s honestly not possible. Not to mention sending people inside Purple Mountain to scout. Without Emperor Weapon, unless you have luck like Ye Fan having those stone clothes, it’s impossible to go inside with low and mid cultivation. You need to be at least Saint. Even then, you must be very careful.
Additionally, I see that Ye Fan is using a purple gourd that his enemy brought to seal Yichen in the novel. But in donghua, I suppose they don’t wanna to make new artifact that’s why he sealed everyone in that damn furnace. STH was supposed to have lots and lots of artifacts, which will probably get smashed by mc. it’s the same with PW though. Their bodies (both mcs) are stronger than artifacts.
Maybe after hanging out with that Black Dog, Bandit and reuniting with Pang Bo, he has some Gangster vibes that I am currently getting but looking at him pulling these stunts boldly at broad daylight would definitely attract some attention from all sides.
After that we can leave it to the revival of Jiang Taixu. Then the real game would start.
What are you saying bro? It’s not really connected to my concern about this episode at all. Ofc there is gangster vibes, but that’s it. It’s not connected to the changes in the plot. While it might not be a big change, it’s crucial imo since it will affect the big picture in the future.
Idk how could this studio making such mistakes in plot modification when there is no need to change whatever was original. It’s already interesting because Ye Fan was always strategic in thinking never made a move that would make himself expose the cover and put himself in danger for casual opponents. I mean there was no need to take characters like Jiang Yichen seriously, also his whole branch of Jiang at elder level. YF had very good dealings with Jiang Taixu and other upper levels of the family as per my memory.
But I understand your concern regarding this little unnecessary changes that would have the possibility of greater deviation in future direction. This is why in china it’s criticised along with praises.

I can’t really tell you much fam since I don’t read the novels at all. So idk what specific changes they have made in the donghua. It’s either the studio is being lazy and changing some stuff since they have control over that and we don’t. We just gonna have to wait and see whatever it is they are trying to do here.
