It’s probably a situation where you have these desires and they dictate how you move through life but because you’ve been operating like that for such a long time you don’t realise everything you do is pushing you towards it and don’t even know what they are anymore but if someone from the outside was to look at your actions and were informed about those deep desires, they would see you are just subconsiously “fiending” for it.(ba dum tss)(completely unintetional)

So the way to finally get rid of the corpses and the devouring instinct is to dig deep into that psyche, find out what those things are and stop letting them control your actions in life and the result would be all of the power of fiend lord, none of the downsides
