Coming straight here after Perfect World and wow—this day just keeps getting better!
What I absolutely love about this donghua is that even though Meng Chuan is the main character, the side characters aren’t just there for display. They actually have depth, their own backstories, and meaningful screen time. Giving Changle an entire dedicated episode was such an impressive move, and it made her character so compelling. I genuinely hope both she and the state preceptor are still alive.
With this donghua, you can truly never predict what’s going to happen next. And of course, the visuals are as absolutely stunning as ever!
