i was talking about the last 2 remaining teammates that were in the scavenger team that sergeant thunder was in charge of. He should meet those people soon and stuff. When he joined he killed one of the members when everyone went to sleep(savage ghost was the name i think). And he used a snakes head that he severed to bite and poison him in his sleep… the snakes poison would melt flesh and bone and turn corpses into a pool of blood!
many species mutate with mutagen… there are many different species that change into horrific things.

that plant that he mentions at sergeant thunders grave is one of the many mutated plants in this world! It is said to cure all illnesses and heal anyone from the brink of death! Even prolonging their life! (Doesnt make them immortal i think)
xu qing has been searching for this plant ever since he learned about it from grandmaster bai (his plants and vegetation teacher at the start when hes in the scavenger camp.. and recently just got revenge for)
Also after he killed that member of the scavenger party.. he left the pool of blood there and simply went to sleep… when he woke up though! All the blood was gone! Sergeant thunder took care of all the evidence and got rid of any sign that he died at all! He even covers for kid (xu qings scavenger name) and says he thinks he just left the team in the middle of the night!
xu qing used the alias known as “Kid” during his time as a scavenger! Which is why those two old teammates have been looking for him but cant find him or learn anything about him.

Thats not “captain lei” its sergeant thunder… the only captain is chen ernui (which means second ox if im not mistaken..like first brother- second brother-third brother…like how hes called seventh fatty in “A Will Eternal”)…so in case anyone is confused here.. the dude who always eats apples is chen ernui “captain(from his days as captain in the crime division as xu qings superior)”…sergeant thunder is the old guy who invites him into his team to become a scavenger in the beginning…he would always cook xu qing snake soup and taught him how to live on his own after his own brother killed his parents (by sacrificing them to the faceless god who dwells in the sky and watches everyone suffer)…it was a bloody night or whatever xin has decided to translate it as (a ritual to the faceless god to obtain godliness and become his follower by putting on a cruel horror show of suffering and death so the faceless god will open its eyes and gaze upon that area..turning it into a forbidden zone for first glace… forbidden ground for second glance… and a gods domain for a third glance….
-this scavenger location where sergeant thunder is buried is important in the story.. more things will take place at this location… its only a forbidden zone ….the singing is a terrifying GRUE that shows up in womens shoes.. its invisible… but it takes the image of the person you want to see the most if you live to see it a second time! xu qing has already witnessed this GRUE once when it showed itself to sergeant thunder to take his soul away when he died…
-every forbidden zone/ground/god domain has a center and a ruling entity…this one has a zither if im not mistaken..its a musical instrument that may have something to do with the singing female GRUE.

ALSO…its not anomaly!!!….thats so confusing…. they are GRUES…The shadow that follows xu qing around ..is a GRUE… its a extremely unique grue that has never seen any other of its kind…grues are formed from mutagen…mutagen is something that transforms spiritual qi into godliness… when ordinary entities absorb mutagen..they have 2 options… they either die (explode)..or they mutate (turn into GRUES)
-this sima clan has a big story significance coming up…they control GRUES and take children to use them as sacrifices by sticking treasures inside them so the children absorb the mutagen instead of the treasure. everything in this world is inflicted by mutagen… treasures absorb it every time they are used or absorb spirit qi (mutagen is mixed in the spirit Qi)..if you need to absorb spirit qi for anything like cultivation/pill refining/treasure refinement …you will draw in mutagen along with the spirit qi…xin translates it as “taint” but its MUTAGEN

Captain understanding that XQ Family is gone, and then remembering that he needs to visit his and wants to take him with him, was a good bonding moment for them. They really look out for each other when it comes to all these stuff now. Then you have San that helps when things are more technical than combat.
I guess San is still rebuilding both their ships, they must be into the frigate sized ones nearly now haha.
Poor Vajra, he took some heavy damage in that fight, i mean that guy was like 3 major realms above them. Hopefully he will get repaired and upgrade an artifact tier too to keep up with how Shadows been progressing lately.

sergeant thunder isnt his actual family… he did consider him as family though.. also patriarch golden vajra got a change in image.. in the novel he stays as a old man forever…he never got that weird little mini cartoon image either…he would show up as the old man in a golden robe but super small… and he could make himself normal size or miniature.. they ruined his look.. the long nails and long beard was perfect…

Hes essentially similar to a sword spirit.

Yeah. Xu qing was angry that they are using children in this way… when his parents were sacrificed to the faceless god.. he started living on the streets. Many other children that he knew that also lived on the streets were taken away and used for this purpose. I think they promised them food and stuff because most food gets corrupted by mutagen!

But he took a bite out of the sea zombies foot at sixth peak.. which is why he was in such a rush at the start of the episode to get to a teleportation formation to leave seven blood eyes sect and get away from the 6th peak master… thats why the peak master was so angry.. he snuck in and found the statue that has godliness and took a bite out of it.. 6th peak master says in the end “he knows what should and shouldnt be talked about”…
because they are planning to retaliate against the mainland… these are forbidden treasures that are considered the highest grade treasures! No one is supposed to know about it! Every time the sect leader and peak masters cultivation rises too much.. the sects on the mainland that are in an alliance go to seven blood eyes and take them away and make them leave seven blood eyes sect.
essentially they are keeping seven blood eyes weak and making sure they stay a vassal sect.. but forbidden treasures are something only greater sects have…. This is all one big scheme to break this cycle of keeping seven blood eyes weak and a vassal sect.
