How do you keep track of everything you watch?
The first few years on MAL, it listed the real creator of the site. Funimation, at the time funi was owned by Universal Pictures. From day 1 MAL has been gathered accurate and up to date info on Anime and it fans. What they love, hate, want remade etc. Without even knowing, every member on MAL has been helping funimation/CR plan out every move they have made. And every change to Anime it has been subjected to. Today its little more than a cartoon that looks like an Anime. After learning who created MAL I left without creating an account.

I am rating based on story, for animation quality; RMJI and Demon Hunter takes top spot. Nothing even comes close.
RMJI has human actors for motion capture, Demon hunter also looks like the budget is in the millions.

This is really an upper world compared to RI universe man. The difference in power scaling is already seen. I read from wiki the first step in this novel is from qi condescension to nascent soul. The nascent soul in this universe can fight an Ascendant realm in the RI universe. If even a golden core cultivator can control space laws you can imagine what the spirit trove realm(comes after nascent soul)will be like man.

Er Gen has an archetype of his MCs. Xu Ching reminds me so much of Wan Lin especially the 1st arch before Xu enters the sect where he broke through all bounds to avenge Captain Li. His killing also reminds me of how hardened Wang Lin was during his revenge days. I actually hate comparing MCs and donghuas because each has their own pros and cons etc, but I do wonder how Er manages to create such ruthless characters who are killers and yet are victims and somehow compassionate.
The world he built in this one is also so different BUT I just remembered Wang Lin went into a god’s body in Renegade Immortal so I’m speculating Xu will as well especially with the info he got from his new blade spirit. I’m on a break from RI since I hate catching up to long running donghua’s then having to wait for new episodes, but I think I’m going to actually read this one on Wuxia World. The author seems to have a love/hate going with god’s as well lol
Ok I have to change my rating of this donghua from Great to Masterpiece. This is awesome, not even one step behind Renegade Immortal, it’s now walking side by side. Each can hold his own in his own way with no need for comparisons.
