I really hope so. My observation has been, shows with MCs who don’t chase after ladies RMJI, RI etc, have way better storytelling and execution since the focal point becomes cultivation.
On the other hand, stories where the authors distract MCs with love interests have a messy plot, and the characters are not well developed.
Unfortunately the more the love interests, the worse the story telling gets.
Too many random side quests to save whichever damsel is in distress or fight NPCs to defend their relationship.
