so far this is a masterpiece, the created should be proud and feel honored for this anime….
It’s by Er Gen, same author of Renegade Immortal and A Will Eternal.
This was a difficult episode emotionally. The cruelty is also not so far off Chinese History though it’s set in a world of spiritual powers. There’s a good reason why the term “Chinese tortures” endures up to today, and they were notorious for holding grudges, revenges, flexing Imperial or Sect power and nasty inhumane rituals.
I feel for Qing Xu. Getting over the death of a loved one takes ages, everything you see at first reminds you of them and you keep expecting them to appear and do their thing, then you’re hit with the reality that they’ll never do it again. Over and over.
This is gonna be a bloody journey.
The graphics are magnificent, at the level of Tales of Herding Gods, Sword of Coming, World Of Immortals and Eclipse of Illusion. I’ll definitely be following.
