THIS THING ABOUT CULTIVATION CYCLE IS TOO DEEP BRO MY BRAIN (MIND) CAN’T HANDLE.
I will try to use the simplest layman’s understanding to explain. It may not be 100% accurate but here’s a rough summary:
There’re two methods to cultivate to supreme being level (pre-immortal stage).
1.) One is the ancient way which is to use a Dao seed to form the laws of the universe and manifest its power. These Dao seeds are formed by heaven and earth in the ancient era, compressed and refined by specific laws of the universe. Therefore, every Dao seed is different and they can never manifest all the laws, only parts of it. E.g. if a Dao seed is formed in the moon, then it can manifest all the lunar laws and power.
2.) The modern (current era) way which is like the formation of 10 Heavenly Path, the Heaven Eye Curtain (dual pupils laws)…etc. So, everything is the current way, whether you use a killing formation or a sword to form your artifact.
Our boi of course comprehended both methods. His 10-Heavenly Path has been compressed into a single Heavenly path and recently using the concept of Yin Yang, he further compressed it into his “dantian” forming a kind of internal power.
But now, he goes into seclusion to form his own Dao seed (taking the ancient method). He doesn’t take any outside law because it’s impossible to grasp all the law (just like the naturally formed Dao seeds, they only contain specific laws). Furthermore, laws/rules may change in a different universe or simply over the course of time. So, old Dao seeds with old laws cannot be applied in all circumstances.
Because of that, he decided to form his own seed from the inside. This seed can manifest the law of the Universe according to his understanding. It can grow and evolve as his understanding deepens. When he combines his “seed” with his body’s internal power, he can open unlimited doors of Dao. There’s simply no limit to what kind of power that seed can manifest.
