And having the All Seer and Tu Osen gunning for Wang Lins life. Raising a cultivator from scratch, protecting him and nurture him with Celestial Jade which is brutally hard to come by as it seems, its just not a good idea. The boi is literally, a liability.
Look what happened to the old guy who boosted the power level of the evil woman from last episode. He the ancestor actually lost a cultivation level. Which is a massive detriment to suffer from. So which sacrifices would Wang Lin have to make?
I understand protecting Wang Ping, but not teaching him cultivation sucks, sickness, old age, death and the suckyness of being a mortal. i would want to protect my sons but also i would want them to be strong, very strong. I would want them to be able to wander the universe by themselves and since he has the methods to cultivate all up to his level, then his son can leave home as one of the strongest being in the universe thus being able to travel in relative peace.
Pinger is just his pseudo son, created through sheer happenstance. And Wang Lins character trait is taking responsibility, because he actually was involved in making the false son he never wanted.
So let the child grow old and die. In other words what this means is good riddance for Wang Lin and his cultivation path.
And the show would start to suck hard if Pinger would now be part of the grand picture, always hanging around and being annoying and a liability.
As if people weren’t annoyed AF about Atreus in God of War.

im quite confuse, according to novel wang pin is wang lin and liu mei son, but before this episode in donghua version wang lin and liu mei said that wang ping is wang lin consciousness that goes inside liu mei, so in this donghua does wang ping are considered wang lin child or his clone
He is wing lin’s and liu mei’s son but it seems most donghua’s usually try not to indicate stuff like that directly and try to have only one main female lead.
