I can agree that the power scaling is nuts here. Dou Zong used to look so intimidating but now it’s no different from dou sheng since they haven’t changed the way the power levels is presented. Same old gimmicks. It’s handled well in RMJI since you can clearly tell the difference between nascent soul and qi condensation.

I really love BTTH right from day one and I’m really excited 😊 for what’s coming next, too sad it is coming to an end soon I wish it could continue a bit longer…..one is the best best and peak anime I’ve ever watched but at least I’m glad when it finish I can go watch the great ruler and see the flame emperor

The reason why people are angry is because the plot turned into major garbage.
It’s all due to this studio is a huge let down. This studio is the kind that grow big, then go lazy…
BTTH had the potential to be really successful, to act like Naruto or DBZ for donghua. Not anymore.
They use to so genuine in their production, building the plots and characters. Even have multiple OST specifically for some of the characters. It’s the only donghua doing this even till now…. YunYun and Xiao Yan, both have female version and male version of song from each of their perspective.
But after three years agreement arc where they able to boost BTTH donghua popularity to max, they grew lazy. They outsourced part of their works to smaller studio, to save cost.
Not just show became fast pace running through the story, even the characters design, visual effect, just keep recycling use the same stuff without much effort into re-edit it.
This studio, not just did this to BTTH. All their other works, actually in the same situation, except for Tiger Crane which try something new. Too bad Tiger Crane only has 1 season and no news for season 2. Btw, Tiger Crane did by the director that made Three Years Agreement arc and a few season before it.
The song “After Farewell” for Yun Yun and Xiao Yan is peak
