It was pretty boring and predictable.
What are you exactly searching in this donghua? A romance? Or the similarity with the Manhua. I am not a Manhua reader, so I don’t know how much this series has missed out, but if it’s romantic curve you’re looking after, I guess SL2 and ToS will keep you involved. They have a ton of these stuff there. As far as it goes for me, I am more leaned towards full-blown out action packed series like Renegade Immortal and Jade Dynasty currently. BTTH hasn’t disappointed me so far in comparison to some of these donghuas above which stressed heavily on romantic aspects. I would also like to see some Medusa focused episodes, but I ain’t that desperate right now. I heard it somewhere that XY and Medusa would have a *****. But, being a donghua watcher completely, I ain’t well aware of those facts. So, that doesn’t bother me at all. Not that you asked, but I just wanted to share my opinion. I would like to hear yours though.
Personally, I’d love to see this turn into more of a harem type donghua due to all the females sniffing around XY throughout the series but I know it’s just wishful thinking. According to the wiki XY ends up with 4 wives, 2 from this series and 2 from the flame emperor novel. I never read that novel so can’t confirm the content shared on the wiki. The only thing I do know is that its in human nature to procreate and if XY wants to rebuild his clan, that’s what he’ll need to do.
Its to follow what the source material that has been given fam a.k.a. the freaking novel not the manhua lol. Majority of the donghuas here follow the novel not the manhua like ever lmao. It’s weird that you don’t know that by now when donghua have been out for years fam. 🤔🤔🤔
