I rarely watch japanese anime nowadays because of peak donghuas like this.
Japanese Animes have turned to literal sheit these days! All MCs have the C stand for cuck!
They are all neutered and have no personality. They are like walking talking bread!
Or they are outright completely re+arded like the MCucked in -Wistoria: Wand and Sword
Then there is no romance at all, all are forever virgins.
MCs are also braindead and take the least logical course of actions, always.
They are all annoying personality wise.
Stories are so dumb and nonsensical i can’t even laugh about it anymore. Thats how dumb they became.
Animes with a memorable cast like in Slayers or Record of Lodoss War aren’t made anymore.
Visuals also getting worse season by season. Using more and more CGI that looks like cinematics from 1993 video games. Diablo 2 Original has better CGI quality at this point.
And now they are using fcking AI for the backgrounds as seen in -The Water Magician. Its so bad once you notice it.
Lets look at a rather recent anime -From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman.
WTF is even that!? This is a 2/10 show, pure trash!!
Dogsheit MC, not funny, dumb and abysmal story, dumb characters, action so bad pathetic and slow, that stop-motion and claymation from 1954 Sindbad movies are more engaging!
Japan has lost the war and the fight. They pioneered Animes, most 80s cartoons are actual animes from japan. And now China has taken over completely.
Solo Leveling (while technically considered an anime) season 2 has completely nuked every single actual Japanese Anime that season (winter 2024).
And its not even an original story. Its the 50. thousands rehash of the same genere written outside of japan.
Check some manhwas, they are all like solo leveling. Everybody has a Status Screen, inventory, level up system. Sometimes its about demons, sometimes about aliens, and sometimes about the undead. But its all the same dumb genre but in different colors.
Yet Japan loses in its own game. Its Pathetic.

ngl this has to be my best well my best Chinese anime bro like the trials and tribulations we seen wang lin go through the people he has meet the people he has lost the lives he’s lived and the way this anime stirs your heart to feel for every moment of this anime especially the arc when he was living as a mortal that got to me this 10/10 Idk who the author is but thank you

The bearded disciple with the whirly patterns on his face looks wrong. And the host speaks through the nose lol. The whiny voice reminds me of the snake people in “Zi Chuan” (Purple River) 😂 I wonder if it’s the same voice actor.
The majority of the characters look amazing though, as usual. The Demon Generals in particular look damn fine! They wouldn’t have a problem finding human… companions.
