Don’t watch it after 3 year agreement Arc (season 4) . Its terrible and has completely gotten foul / downhill. This episode was once again rushed as hell and a lot of chapters was skipped. It currently has a 1 star rating.

She made a surprise visit to Falling Star Pavilion to see him. After their greetings to each other. Ya Fei leans close to Xiao Yan to whisper that she will be waiting for him to come get her. And then Ya Fei takes advantage the moment to grind on his thigh just enough to get her point made, and to remind his other women there. Even if she’s the last one added. Her status won’t be below there’s.
Something like that would be worth a second star, no five stars. I think fans would go into a state of shock if an episode like that aired today.

I used to track how many chapters per episode since season 5, but no longer now. If you said 4-7 chapters/ep, it’s still not too bad. It used to be 10 chapters/ep.
I’m not kidding. I’ll get back to you once I have time to prove it to you and find some of the example episodes along with the chapters that correlate to the episodes.
10 chapters per episode is possible coz some chapters are skipped to include in every episode, most studios skipped or didn’t include some chapters from the light novel that are not fit in the plot based on studios perspective
