and yeah i honestly saw this coming. as soon as we found out situ nan was the 2nd vermillion that everyone revered, we knew he was gonna set up his savior good. wang lin got him a body and protected him. i imagine theres still his leftover divine sense in the tomb or he just told the current vermillion to hook him up. seems like situ nan is still in “master” mode. telling his disciple bout the crystal, how it works, where to go, and what to do.

I don’t think he told Wang Lin more about the Crystal, the true last vermillion might be Situ Nan since he sealed the Star Cultivation Crystal and it might made the third till now unable to enter the Star Cultivation Crystal’s Pavilion and have full access to the crystal which made them unable to become the True Vermillion

I was on the edge of my seat throughout all the set pieces, lol. FIRE This is what I meant when the recent episodes were filler-ish, but I trusted the showrunners, and man, they didn’t let down. They were they cooking!
My opinion is that this especially the tomb part, was one of those unnecessarily dragged out arcs in renegade immortal. Although it did do some history of Suzaku planet, the introduction of the Mighty Cultivation Alliance, The concept of the Vermillion of the Great Four Divine Sects, & Hong Die’s “death”(Red butterfly) who has a very mind blowing plot point connected to Wang Lin’s later on, (DAO DREAM)!
Just watched BTTH before Renegade immortal. The difference is sky high. They ruined BTTH bruh.
They censored the Wang Lin and Liu Mei one night stand too, but yeah btth is much worse
