For instance Xiao Yi Xian and Xun’er was supposed to have a conversation about Medusa , but there was not even a mention of her or xiao xiao.
Second when Xiao yan was talking with Gu Yuan, he also told xiao yan not to take xuner’s virginity until she reaches Dou sheng to keep her bloodline pure, but not a mention of that either.

I never read the novel/manhua, but I remember my friend telling me that upon resurrecting XY’s master, Bro went on a little retirement to hang out with all the chicks, which I think if true would have been funny.
However, with all the censureship, bet they wouldn’t show that.
There probably a whole lot of changes that have been made into this donghua that should’ve made it really stand out like it did earlier seasons.

From what I’ve seen previously in regard to the scene with Xiao Yan talking with Xun’er’s father, they talked about the Tuo she ancient emperor jade like what was shown in this episode. They also talked about Xun’er and her father told Xiao Yan not to have sex with her till her bloodline power was stable.
In regard to the meeting of the elders, you are partially correct. They do not want Xiao Yan to enter as none of them have ever managed to make it to the 3rd floor. Personally, I think it’s because none of them had Xiao Blood flowing through their veins so they had no chance of obtaining the Xiao legacy. They were basically holding out hope that their clan would obtain the power so that they could stand on equal footing or obtaining more power than the Hun clan.
Still sad for the changes though fam. The only thing keeping me from watching this is his meeting with Xiao Xuan.
When I saw that scene covered in another video it kind of reminded me of the bad boys II scene with Reggie where they were trying to scare him off doing anything with Marcus’s daughter.

Lol animation was peak in three year agreement or seasons before em now it’s seem meh studio can try to put that blame on tight time but honestly they know emselves btth isn’t going to get a big profit project since they already had problem in episode of XY and Medusa censoring it was doom of this show and studio new it very well that from then on all episode would be a struggling nothing else so they decided to drop the quality and save money honest at this point I feel like I was cheated not to mention what would have loyal viewers felt when seeing all these shit

Well i read somewhere that the Author went to ask the studio why they are doing this and they apparently said they were afraid it wont pass the censorship cause unmarried woman with kid(Medusa) and all the lewd scenes are not seen as good thing among the chinese… which is total crap if u ask me.. ive seen quite many lewd scenes in Donghua they could’ve censored that part not completely removing it.. cause it affects the story itself.. which they’ve been doing a lot and the story is all over the place.. quite sad for such good Donghua…
How many of those donghua’s you’ve seen with lewd scenes are recent releases? Old donghua’s had more freedom in the past on how far they could go with the scenes due to difference in the laws back then. Since then the laws on public screening has changed even to the point that all gay content is banned in an attempt to push more men towards women.
Also, unmarried women with children are looked down upon even from the western side of the map. The reason for that is simply because they are viewed as less respectable than other women and seen as easy lay’s. Easterners have more prejudice towards such things and the scorn and gossiping brings shame to their families leading to a decrease in their family reputation. That can affect many things from decreased business opportunities to even affecting potential marriages between families because they don’t want to be associated with them. So it’s understandable why they would not want to show such condoning content in a show that’s targeting teens.
Many recent donghuas have those ”forced” love scenes i dont mind them censoring the act but they are removing the whole thing althogether as if it didnt exist.. just like they removed Gu Yan saying to Xiao Yan to not take her virginity before she fully awaken her bloodline…and they been avoiding almost everything about Medusa.. since he left Jia Ma Empire.. stop coping… its just shit/poor studio choices even the chinese watchers are mad about it.
lol, you are the second person who tried to tell me to “stop coping” within the past week even though all I’m doing is stating facts. Also, if I’m not mistaken episode 129 of season 5 gave an update on Jia Ma Empire and how Medusa was the leader of the Yan alliance and before that an earlier episode showed how she magically gave birth. We’ll see more of her soon anyway after this segment with Xiao Xuan is over.
As for Xiao Yan’s talk with Gu Yan, I will agree the removal of the content from that scene was rather peculiar and has left me wondering what potential breach were they worried about that warranted the removal.
