like i said before, and i think Tan Yun ⭐Hongmeng Supreme⭐, Magnate , Angel of Darkness also will agree. is it a trash donghua? No. Has the quality of the story, scence, effect, music, sound, dialogue, drop severely? yes. It used to be peak, and especially almost top 1 or maybe even so, we all know the 3 years battle arc, was so good that the studio did it, but maybe they just got too greedy, that in a way since if they put less effort or budget into it, it doesn’t matter since people will support them, or watch it, at least in china. but we are watching for free anyway. i get that too the frustation and you arent the fucking only one who feel that way, but what point does it have, to put it into trash tier, when its about to end? Xiao yan and Yao chen already made appearence in the great ruler arc 3 times already probably (forgotten the number of times) but not as a main character anymore which means they’re moving on to the next connecting donghua. So even if you think its trash it doesnt bother them, they’re still earning ton of fucking money. Like i said again, even xing chen bian aka Stellar Transformation was one of the top 5 donghua, but the last season they butched the entire, pace, story, effect, etc just to wrap it up. So its not the first time anyway!

Once a person gets strong enough to where in xaio yan’s case merely combining more and more heavenly flames is the answer to overcoming obstacles people will lose interest. Similar to Swallowed Star with how its scaled from fighting on earth > galaxy > universe and so on it would be hard to keep any of these fights interesting.
