idk if its true or not, but some guy from chinese forum said that the studio intend to make xu’er the legal and only wife, and thats why they are not explicitly showing medusa and xiao xiao involvement to xiao yan, and thats why too they dont have xiao xiao voice actress as to not going to make dialouge for her.

I guess its because for close to 20 years. Anime is the only media(99.9%) I’ve watched. Whenever something is out of place, like a scene used as time filler, or a scene is embellished in order to pump up character approval or pacify the audience desires. We have seen alot of that lately. This show rarely ever had them until they left college. But lately i notice something in every episode.
Lately every episode has a scene making it appear like Xiao Yan has become camp coordinator. And nobody can do anything without him telling them. The scene when he was going in for closed cultivation. He stood there saying “Falling Star Pavillion and Yan alliance are entrusted to you all. He said “all” not “you two” as in they would take over protecting it for him, even yao lao nodded his head. Xiao Yan isn’t in charge of protecting anything there. They have more than enough muscle than to have need of guests staying there for protection.
Handing his master Han Feng’s soul would have occurred when they were chatting privately. Moving that part to where he did it. Made it a balancer for that entire scene. Like he was giving directions of what to do, while he was trying to break through to the next level. Which is way to fast for Ban Sheng. It would be obvious to the enemy, he got the Bodai Heart when he shows up so much stronger than before.

There used to be a strong and steady balance between characters. but its gone now. There’s only one way to get the show back on track. But doing it is almost impossible.
I about threw up when the music started and Xiao Yans master was standing there in front of the door where he went into cultivate with the facial expression he had. How did this suddenly become a BL Anime. I could almost here his master saying “Xiao, you don’t need a harem of women. All you need is master.” I almost throw up during that scene.
With what’s happening in this donghua we are only in it for the ride now fam.

When she saw XY kowtowed she did the same thing coz she sees XY as her Husband, a Partner the father of her daughter Xiao Xiao. . . That’s a character development from a almighty and unshakeable queen to serene and loving mother. . . Faack that studio. . .

Or how his flame mantra has been reduced to one super move that requires half an episode to charge.

Am a big fan of Hun Feng from the Hun Clan my fave character. Love the Hun Clan and what they represent. I cannot wait to see Hun Feng Appearance’s- i hope they made character badass like the manhua and also give him the same red badass eyes.
