They changed crucial parts from novel. They censored his daughter. THEY MUTED HIS DAUGHTER as well. You can feel the difference of fight animation across the realms in past episodes and the so called peak DOU SHENG.
Well binge watching is a fun experience so that might be one reason you are not hating it much. These days we are all catched up to latest eps… getting to binge something is naturally fun even if its not that good of a show.

I will assume that you are not ragebaiting and actually meaning whatever you mean. I will try to give you biggest genuine gripe people have on this. Is the blatant disregard of the quality of story telling this series has itself established previously.
The biggest peak of this series at Misty cloud sect fight people had rated it 9.8 out of 10. It was jaw dropping , personal vendetta and hype inducing finale. Ppl had set that to be the bar. Every donghua was being compared against that bar.
Now fast forward 7 years. What do we have? Every story and plot point are cut , removed , skipped and only fight happens without any context. Villains come and die without adding anything to the story.Now its a meaningless fights gallery. yet the main novel story is not that. It had so many fights , arcs , moments that are arguably even better than misty cloud arc.
Tell me as a donghua only watcher it does not bother you that Xiao Yan arrives at point A , kills some ppl that you dont know about and then move to point B and kill some more that you will never know about?
Unlike normal cultivation stories where MC does cultivation for cultivation’s sake or some revenge for past lives , BTTH always shone on present.The grudges are always happens as Xiao yan goes in his current journey. If they cut that off what is left ? This utter bullshit. Soulless , meaningless , forgetful fights with flashing effects and some blasts.
And I am not even mentioning the every single romance , interactions ,side character arcs and some massive plot points removed from donghua which makes current story and plot a swiss cheese.
Even less interested to mention there are only 2 musics that are recycled in every episodes for last 70 episodes . All the main and side female models have been duplicated to each other where as even low budget season 2 had distinct models. So everyone looks the same , a NPC
ALL of these have been noticed by the fans who have been watching the series from the very beginning. So they are and will be furious.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA Dragon Prince Yuan season 1 is getting a redo/remake, completely starting from scratch again releasing at 2027. If you want to see, check on MAL, it been added there. The reason for this is apparent, the author has hated what Tencent has done to BTTH and DPY current season 1, apparently too much of the story was changed in season 1 by tencent, and it has some Harem elements later . Fearing what BTTH has become today, the author has demanded a remake of season, pulled out from Tencent and the network will be under Iqiyi Now. In his offical statement, he said its too late for BTTH, he doesn’t like the current BTTH either , but it’s not too late for Dragon Prince Yuan , since its still in the early seasons. Good change, pull away from Tencent if its Harem. Good to see that even the author has agreed how shit BTTH has become.
Honestly this donghua does not even deserve the high budget it has, it should be given to Martial Master instead , thats donghua is waay better and enjoyable, especially last week’s episode. Martial Master is winning Oscar awards while btth is drowning in a mud-pit.
As for todays episode, nothing new, a lot of troupes we have already seen before being resued. So Xiao Chen was controlled by the Saint, now his mind control was easily borken? Conveninet for MC , he got a nother powerful ally for his plot armor. The puryfying demonic lotus’s palace looks like an exact replica of the wind-lightening pavillon. The fire slaves , ohh nice some flashy outfits here and there, but other than that nothing new. Again Dou Shengs fight like Dou Huangs. When the Saint killed some of the members from the 8 clans, they just explode to dust… No blood at all, leaves an unsatisfying death. I wish they stop zooming in on Gu Xuner, I don’t want to see her model, its designed terribly.
