It’s a slow burner. The first season will be super confusing, very rage-baiting too, but this season is much better. This has soo much potential imo 🔥
if u like slow.. i mean very slow progress and u are patient person give it a go i guess.. but its just so slow the mc is extremely weak or rather his enemies are way out of his league.. which is the same shit.. makes it very hard to keep watching without being frustrated i will probably revisit at the end of the season.
Could literally sleep of watching this, this is beyond slow pace, its a slow burnout donghua. There are many scenes that is typically unnecessary, and so many scenes which is deliberately prolonged. A mortal journey to immortality is also slow paced but each scene has a tangible impact and relation to the donghua overall plot. But this donghua is just preying on the viewers confusion to feel they created a masterpiece, no need having to many mysteries at the same time, unclear plots bumping into each other until the viewers gets so confused on what exactly is going on. I have no problem with a slow paced donghua, but slowed paced donghua with too many unnecessary scenes and half done plots twisting together in a bid to give viewers a feel of mystery is a total waste to me. They should tie plots together and help us enjoy and understand this donghua, its becoming extremely eye sore to watch
