At this rate, the series will likely wrap up by 2029 in only 310 to 330 episodes.In my opinion, those who haven’t read the novel won’t find anything wrong with the pacing. subtle world-building and mini arcs are being sacrificed .
Extending the series to at least 450 episodes would have given Wang Lin’s journey the breathing room it truly deserves. It’s simply unjustice to this true masterpiece and Goated Writer Lord Er Gen.
Narrative decision aside, I’m just impressed that this is the quantity of Er Gen’s writing. And this is just from one series, on top of all his other series being adapted

We literally went from a supposedly backwatered colonized planet on top of a deceased ancient god body (amongst other things), out to a significant cultivation planet, then got sucked into a pocket dimension with higher cultivation than the average outside (at least based on how it’s portrayed), then got through the vortex into a new planet system entirely, which I’m assuming isn’t inside a pocket dimension too

let me tell u i get bored easily. can’t even binge even half of 12 episode animes.

as i told you won’t feel it if you haven’t read the novel. i guess till episode 103 pacing was good. it was less than 5 chapters per episodes.
