I’m kinda late. but I get this now.. hmhm why are they fighting like martial artist or btth dou qi? it’s not much of an issue really. but isn’t golden core supposed to be absurdly strong? maybe i’m a little too expectant. moreover, isn’t her previous cultivation nascent soul? why would she be confined to mortal body, i mean, her heart got destroyed, so what? she has nascent soul. using the common logic of xianxia novel, it’s possible for her to regenerate her heart or possess body. in any case, she’s a freakin’ genius. how can she get swindled by virtuoso (i literally heard zhu ji, means foundation establishment, pretty sure). she got poisoned for sure, also that suspicious demonic energy flowing out of her. and her heart got destroyed, but why would that guarantee her death? she’s nascent soul realm for real. did i misunderstand nascent soul as nascent heart or something? why would she need heart transplant? also, now her cultivation recovers, but she’s only peak golden core. so, she hasn’t really recovered her full strength. also that silent court lord is so sus, the guy literally pops up like savior just when she got revived by that white dragon who claims to be her little sis. damn the logic of cultivation world is so thoroughly remade in this donghua. i like fmc now but it’s a bit different than my usual xianxia.

The writer behind Yun Wangshu should have let her struggle a bit more before her first mark in the bingo book. I have a feeling this is an ONA of 12-16 episodes. Which is a shame. It’s beautifully animated; however, it’s not weighty. I like it, though.

What can I say? The way this story approaches the vengeance angle is quite effeminate, refreshing in its own way. The tender love songs are a bit much though, in my opinion.

I couldn’t find my first comment so here goes again: I didn’t enjoy the extreme cruelty. It destabilises the heart and makes revenge very attractive. Truly a poisoned arrow. If they don’t tone it down I’m dropping it for my own good.
Other than that it’s a compelling story with outstanding visuals.
Storywise — perfect! I stan cartoon Emily Thorne. However, some of the translation choices are terrible. Jadeton? WTH?!! Lol.
Also, I feel that given the circumstances of the story, this would have been an opportunity to give Wangshu a more practical gear. Like she’s in morning but all dolled up and dressed like a yosei — even during closed door training, LMFAO.
