good series but it gets annoying when they make the main character lose without fully trying. In none of the fights since obtaining his bloodline power has he used it. When hes against someone he KNOWS is stronger than him he doesnt go all out from the start instead they need to make it seem like hes losing so something dramatic can happen. Id rather see a main character lose after going all out and grow from there not lose because plot or lack there of.
Actually in LN Xiao Yan defeated every enemies in the Hall of Souls assault, I don’t know why the studio made him weak in this episode
