Tbh, I haven’t really watched today’s episode, I’ve been busy rewatching Renegade Immortal fam. Wang Lin’s freaking breakthrough to Ascendant is just something else. ⛈️ ⚡ ⛈️ ⚡ ⛈️ ⚡
But I know, judging by the fact that he got the Demon Saint Essence Blood. I can guess he finally brokethrough to the late stage of 1-star Dou Sheng. And from the preview, about him dealing with Feng Qing’er and her clan. I already got this feeling that it’s going to be in the next episode. 🧐 🧐 🧐
TBH I would write a long comment about the Ep. But too busy playing Where winds meet and re-watching the RMJI episode.
But waiting for the great ruler season2, if I’m not mistaken, it should be out next week on jan 9. I can’t wait to see the “better version of xiao yan” there, much better than what they have done to him here.
You play Where winds meet on Chinese Version or the global version? I’ve seen Chinese version have amazing weapons compared to the global version. Also this BTTH ep was kinda ass ngl.
On the global version, its fine, I am not in a rush. I am only playing the main story, because the game is too big and I don’t have time to do everything in it. And i also have other games to catch up on like Black Myth Wukong and catch up on a lot of donghuas and last season’s Jap Anime.

I can’t lie I only watch the sequels of good japanese anime I’ve already watched rather than new ones each season since they’re mostly just ass, only new ones I watch are just recomendations from reddit or sum.
As for donghuas not really much to watch apart from the ones releasing.
Where Winds meet was my first game in terms of Story/Open World wise since I barely played games so I was kinda ass at it although I feel like I’m pretty good now. I also play on the global version since if I go on CN version imma js be straight destroyed 🥀
There wasn’t much worth watching in last season’s Jap anime TBH – Gachiakuta being one (and that was Summer+Fall season but AMAZING animation!) and Kingdom S6 being another; toss in May I Ask For One Final Thing and A Wild Last Boss Appeared! and that covers most of what was worth watching.
You could toss an Honorable Mention to a few other shows such as Tojima Wants To Be A Kamen Rider for how fun and unexpected it was, My Status As An Assassin Obviously Exceeds The Hero’s for some fun fights but overall lackluster plot, My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge! if you’re all about revenge fantasies (still slow paced for what it could have/should have been), and maybe Cour 2 of Let This Grieving Soul Retire if you already watched Season 1 and enjoyed it.
Overall it was a terrible anime season for Japan. There were a lot that started decent but got bogged down by pacing or the story just got super repetitive, so the pickings were slim overall.
I’m also rewatching Perfect World since Shi Hao pretty much is cooking fr in this latest one. 🔥🔥🔥

Speaking of Shi Hao and cooking: in that scene with XY swimming down to where Medusa was cultivating, I couldn’t help but to think of the fact that if it was Shi Hao, he wouldn’t be thinking about how to protect Medusa so much as wondering what seasonings to cook and eat her with. It was rather funny that I then came down to the comments and saw your Perfect World comment after thinking about how Shi Hao would have had grilled snake, lol!

if it hasn’t been too long (i.e. since AnimeXin’s server reset) you should be able to click on “All Episodes”, scroll down a bit, and it will show you a section labeled “History” that will tell you the last 3 episodes you watched or at least clicked on.
Another option is using something like MAL Sync which is a browser extension that will track the various anime and donghua you watch and keep tabs on them, and also sync with your My Anime List account if you have one. There are similar extensions for the other services like AniList if you use them instead of MAL (there are better ones for Donghua, but I am used to using MAL at this point).
TBH, I have been doing similar but with PERFECT WORLD. I read the Novel and even wrote many of the Wiki but watching the Donghua was still somewhat confusing, perhaps due to having that mental note of what things shouldn’t or Should’ve been took away the vibe. I also share the fans complains that the Donghua team haven fully been able to capture and transfer the story properly via Donghua.
In any case re-watching/binge the entire series from EP-50 but this time having my Google translation in hand, it makes a huge difference. At Ep-154 currently. I stop watching at EP-165 1year or so in-order to let the episodes build up.
Cannot Wait to see He Wushuang Fight, though am critical of the story telling when it comes to the fighting scenes PW provide the best in this space!!!!

Yes, in a away our boi was fighting and defying the heavens. And the Lightning Tribulation is like a tool they use to smite people who don’t obey by their rules. 🤔 🤔 🤔 or in general its just them breaking a taboo.
Fun Fact: Han Li is also a heaven defying cultivator but it hasnt been shown yet.
