I also did not like how lei-zun xhe and rest of wind lightening pavilion turned into gold dust and vanished into thin air.
In the novel, xiao yan killed him with 1 slap, his body flew into air and chunks of meant dropped into the ground with blood splattering everywhere.
So yeah the episode was really toned down with the killings. I am disappointed. 🤦♂️
yeah the blood was toned down severely. they also change the rescue of the han family. in the novel, the han family was like in house arrest, and it was subordinates of the star pallivion that freed the han family. It was also to meant to show han xue’s love for xiao yan was one sided and wasnt reciprocated.
It was also meant to show that Xiao Yan was too high up in the sky that just his subordinates were more than enough to go there. And he did not feel any bigger debt either.

BTTH lacks sooooo much- the fighting scenes are way too short- I dont care if they change the insignificant parts such as Gu You not being killed, some things has to change but something needs to remain like the romance and feelings which these stupid nerd women at the studios who’s probably still a virgin because they have no life other than work cannot fathom emotional depth.
