What is the difference between bai sheng and Dou sheng am confused
Ban or 半 means ‘half’ in Chinese. So bansheng is someone who stepped over the dou sheng threshold but is not fully there yet.
Ban Sheng is not a true dou sheng (fight saint), its a mid-transformation phase
Dou sheng is a true 1 star fight saint like xiao yan reached this episode.
Think of it as a Dou Zun 9.95 – 9.99 [from initial<intermediate<Advanced] then Dou Sheng.
Dou Zun goes to 9 star, then Peak 9 Change [9.9], then into Ban Sheng [9.95, that half step away]
exactly. with that id say it’s not even really dou sheng at all. its more the end of dou zun than it is the beginning of dou sheng. a ban sheng is not a true dou sheng. the gap between ban sheng and dou sheng are too huge anyway. as displayed in the series already.

Ban Sheng = Half Saint – they are above a Dou Zun (Fight Venerate) by several leagues, but below a Dou Sheng (Fight Saint) also by several leagues – if you have watched Soul Land, a Ban Sheng would be like a Titled Doulo of 90-93 while a Dou Sheng would be a 94-99, where each level is exponential and a 93 trying to fight a 94 is practically suicide without a LOT of help and luck.
A “Fight Saint” is basically the pinnacle of a fighter up until they reach Dou Di (Fight God), though there are different levels of Fight Saint just like there were different levels of Fight King, Fight Emperor, Fight Ancestor, and Fight Venerate, and you have to climb those levels before becoming Dou Di (Fight God).
Basically Xiao Yan just entered the pinnacle class of those in his world who claim the top power spots and has to continue to level up until he finally reaches Dou Di which is the top of the top of everyone in the world.
To put it politically, he’s now a President of a First World Country, but currently he’s the president of a “lesser country” like Denmark or or Sweden or something like that – he needs to keep leveling up until he’s the President of Russia, China, or the USA. Once he has reached Peak Dou Sheng, he’ll be like the USA President with the entire US military and nuclear codes under his belt, and if/when he reaches Dou Di, he’ll be the king of the world with all First World Presidents below him.
