I’m actually curious what element he uses, but sadly at this point the studio never bother to go more in details to it.. its basically he’s ban sheng and that’s it,although im curiious if he’s low mid or high ban sheng. Also, xiao yan’s first appearance as dou sheng is cool, but maybe it’s me, i feel like its kind of awkward like the studio has no idea how to make xiao yan powerful. It’s like trying to be like xiao xuan, but at the same time they want to make him special by giving him special effect which made it awkward cause too much visual effectand he’s like half xiao xuan and half not sure what it is
IKR they never really showcase that much stuff about Yao Lao it’s crazy they be keeping it hidden. And yeah they be giving the MC too much sometimes since he is the main character and this is their story fam.

Then finally they made a distinction of how much a Dou Sheng’s power scales to the Ban Shengs. The space lock was lit and his appearance as a Dou Sheng, finally reminds me of Yun Shan’s entry back then when BTTH was at its peak.
From now on, I freaking expect fights to be scaled similar to how the Dou Sheng skeleton fight was. I dont want to see fckn fist clashes with little space rip effects any more.
