LOL They think the fans are stupid or something. Not only keeping Xiao Xiao mute until the end of time?, but also Xiao yan never asked about her origins or his relationship with Medusa, really like wtf? HOW THE FK WAS XIAO XIAO BORN? It was never explained or discussed with his brothers either. WTF IS THIS BULLSHIT? Xiao yan never even asked Medusa who she was either and about the relationship as well…….. Apparently they think the viewers are stupid to never ask any questions about Xiao Xiao or how she came to be….. Nothing was solidified between Xiao Yan and Medusa’s relationship… No it looks like there won’t be any explanation about her, because he is already returning to Falling Star pavillon. Man what a huge dissapointment.
Thiss episode was just very rushed and fast pace. A lot of content was skipped or changed, When the guy said “The wormhole has been fixed”. They are already going back to falling star pavilion….. What the fuck? Just 1 episode in the Yan Alliance, really? So there is just no emotion or build-up now…. Was Medusa also reduced to side-character or what? The most important part this episode which is her marriage was skipped.
Direct reference what was supposed to happen with their Marriage (it was skipped). Thsi way you can atleast know what really happened ..

Yeah i think so, What kind of episode is this?What’s the director’s problem? Xiao Xiao is silent throughout this episode. It’s so disappointing. I think we need a shorter moment or scene. Just a few seconds of Xiao Yan asking why she’s using the name “Xiao,” or he could ask Medusa about Xiao Xiao, then she can explained in short conversation. That would be great and even better for us as fans.
This is insane, we are just to ignore that XX is obviously their daughter, but no one is allowed to say it, plus they refuse to let her actually speak.
I guess the foundation pill XY concocts for XX will help XX speak. After that, she’s going to address XY as her dad. That’s the last hope. Because it’s a no-brainer at this point that one of “Xiao” in “Xiao Xiao” comes from the bloodline heritage, aka from Xiao Yan’s blood in addition to XY’s clan tattoo popping up when he first touched her, making XX his daughter. Maybe the director is waiting to unfold the sequences in this pattern. I don’t think the director is foolish enough to introduce Xiao Xiao as a character in donghua simply for nothing. Since, we can see a special focus being made to XX character, she will have to be connected with Cai Lin and Xiao Yan because if not for her being XY’s daughter, she doesn’t serve any other purpose in the donghua at all. So, the reveal is imminent. It’s all about time, imo.

You do know these backgrounds are re-used from other location right? Your mind is really shallow if you think that and you have not seen other shows if you call this background anything close to “good” . The background settings here are horribly made.

IIRC he used to but dropped it because of the censorship, but I could be misremembering. No way to say for sure without his input because the entire former comments section got wiped by Disqus and the entire back catalogue of shows got wiped when Xin lost his server, so it’s a double “not gonna find out without asking him”.
Chinese anime generally lacks good storytelling except for Lin cage(spirit cage), btth(somehow) and renegade immortal . Their animation generally is extremely excellent but the storyline is mainly revenge or some master trying to reincarnate through another body and centrally cultivation. I know it’s centralized around cultivation as a huge part of Chinese culture but btth need to improve on the storytelling. There should be more buildups to fights with enough suspense to sustain the buildups. Fights shouldn’t just happen for no reason.
