I got so paranoid and though that they were going to delete Xiao Xiao, but after seeing todays episode, I am so glad that I was wrong . NOW I AM SO EXICTED FOR BTTH, I RATE IT 5 STARS AGAIN.
I wont be dropping this donghua at all, they really did redeem themselves. And I am so happy I was wrong.

Man where to start first , I heard the old director got fired and a new one replaced her and is in change of BTTH in the studio. And looks like this new director looks as if he saved BTTH. So many old faces back from Jia Ma Empire , Ja Xintian, FaMa old family, Xiao brothers. AND MY MAN HAIBODONG, my favorite ICE EMPEROR. SO EXCITED. I just love HaiBong, I remember watching him back in season 3, the good times back in Jia Ma Empire.
And finally Medusa is back and wow she looks stunning and gorgeous as ever, queen. I would simp for Queen Cai Lin any day, I have no problems LOL. A lot of people watch BTTH because of her. And i heard alot of people were gonna drop it including me if they removed her, at least the studio and new director is listening to the fans this time and staying true to the novel and to medusa and to Xiao Xiao. MAN WHAT A HUGE REDEMPTION. I AM SOOOO GLAD AND HAPPY, AND FEELS WEIGHT LIFTED OFF MY SHOULDERS. I will say though that the only small part they skipped, was that Xiao Xiao called him “Dad” at the end, after Xiao Yan asked her “do you know who I am, little fellow?”
Man , just look at xiao xiao, the xiao clan’s little princess and the future of the xiao clan. Xiao yan has a big character development and personal growth because of her. She is also Xiao Yan’s goal of protecting the her and her future from the Hun Clan. He has motivation and emotion now. Finally there is meaning why xiao yan fights now. See studio? If you give fans what they want, they will only support you and have good things to say about you, and leave you good reviews, including me. Actually, this was one of those episodes you can sum up in 10 words or less, you can absolutely skip it and not miss anything. It was boring as fuck.
Only if there were no spoilers, this would have served such a purpose. But, I don’t think I can blame the novel readers here because from what I heard the previous BTTH director really tried to eliminate XX from the series, so the disappointment from the fans is expected, thus the spoilers. Frankly speaking, since it’s already known from the spoilers, I kinda got excited when I saw the little cutie, but just imagine had we never known about it. The excitement would have quadrupled in my opinion. Anyway, the fan base is back, and this series really deserves it. As a pure donghua only watcher, I would have rated this donghua 5 starts any time of the day whether XX was there or not. She’s there now so this adds up to my excitement. I am really happy that my boy is going to have someone of this own now.
They still need to fix the fact that the fights have largely gotten stale and repetitive, but at least they’re not completely sabotaging the story line anymore, at least for the time being.
