Ayo, this is the episode where I drop this once-excellent show. Another sect, another guy challenging Xiao Yan for plot convenience and showcase the same animated battle scene. Same design with little variation for each one of them. Can you actually look at any of the buildings/clothing/faces from different countries and say they are distinct? Ancient Void Dragon design looks the same as this one, villains look similar, side-characters are just there for decoration and lame dialogue. I even have a Bingo dialogue card, and true enough, “Someone will call an attack on them ‘Cheap trick!'” was on it. Bingo! Lol. Power scaling is, again, tied to plot convenience–characters are stronger or weaker for the sake of the drama. Allow me to predict who is going to win this “new” battle…but then again, we all know who that is already, so, on second thought, nah. Byeeee!
