Fam, this episode was really frustrating to watch because of the screen time that had Hua Tiandu, he is so annoying. 😒
And everytime he appeares it seems that the plot forces Fang Han to be weak asf. 🤦♂️
Tbh Fang Han is not that weak, atleast against the Taiyi sect disciples, the proof is that they had to call Hua Tiandu and to count on him to take care of Fang Han.
If they were that strong they wouldn’t need his help.
The plot always wants Hua Tiandu to have the spotlight.
Even though i didn’t read the novel, i know that this season is about the Taiyuan immortal Palace.
My guess is Fang Han and his team vanised into the Palace, they will probably explore the Palace, find some treasures and level up.
And they will be back in 3 years during the Grand immortal Assembly, that’s my guess.

Agreed! I wanted to see Dragon Girl struggle with hiding the truth from the sect’s leadership – you just know she would have been torn between telling the truth and keeping Fang Han’s secret and it would have been both hilarious and adorable since she’s an upright/righteous person and a bad liar!
I guess an MC secret can’t always be kept under since a lot of people will eventually find out about it. 😅😅😅

It wasn’t Fang Han taking on those Taiyi sect disciples though: it was Yan, so saying that Fang Han isn’t weak because he beat them is disingenuous to say the least.
Though it is worth noting that Fang Han still isn’t “weak” himself, because the dude has leveled up like crazy in a short amount of time and is way stronger than the people he joined the sect alongside.
I think those Taiyi 5 were seniors or elders or something and weren’t just your average “disciples”; the regular/average disciples were like those 3 he beat and stole the lions from that got blamed on the King of Evils dude, and he was able to take them out no problem and has gotten stronger and leveled up since then.
I’m kinda disappointed that we didn’t get to see Dragon Girl trying to hide the fact that he had the Dormant Dragon Painting and struggling with lying or hiding the truth since Hua Tiandu and the Fang girl found out already. I really wanted to see her internal struggle with keeping the secret from the sect leadership!
And yeah, you just KNOW that Fang Han is going to get a come-up from the Immortal Palace! Dude will probably advance his cultivation, get some great artifacts, and if this show follows the usual Deadly Immortal Palace trope, he’ll probably inherit the immortal palace and be able to visit it whenever he wants, just like in Stellar Transformations, Apotheosis, and a few other donghua I can’t think of off the top of my head.
I know that Yan fought the elders, but the other 2 disciples from the Taiyi sect who were still present at the end with Hua Tiandu, i don’t think that they could have defeated Fang Han.
They are strong but not that strong, they even had some trouble to deal with him in the previous episode.

Possibly some of the dumbest decision making by an MC I’ve seen in a while. The berserk pill was completely unnecessary. And now they all know he has the dragon frame painting. I get the desperation, but the writing is bizarre. Author must have realized shit was dragging on too much and wanted to speed things up in the dumbest way. At least you know that he’s going to get a powerup from the palace probably, but it seems every time he gets a power up, Hua Tiandu is there to make it look like it didn’t matter, which isn’t fun to watch at all.
