this episode is really poorly adapted… dude was watching the cinema instead of planting for so long. Also its adapted in a way that makes it seem like that Tianfeng died coz of MC carelessness.
In the novel, practically the opposite happened – no drama in getting the flag. In fact, if memory is right, only the MC got the flag himself (there were some elders who tried to get in his way though), told the family to return though they tried to follow him but he met them on his way back. Poor adaptation.
