Grandpa Apothecary (Jade Face Poison King) was the most handsome person in the capital. And even though he wears a mask at all times, they still reimagined and recreated his old handsome self on this episode, just for the sake of cinematography.
And Qin Mu’s way of curing the poison was so unique as well. Unlike most of the other donghua/anime we watch, where they just pull out a random pill or press a few meridian points to stop the poison. It’s always the same.
Poor Granny, she was fucking suffering, and im a bit pissed that it feels like only 7th was worrying about her, like what about her DAD you know the emperor.. or her siblings. This is messed up and I hope a lot of people get punished for this.
