Fam, i personally think that they became destined enemies because of the ego and jealousy of Li Xiaoman.
Since the start of the story she always had inferiority complex, i remember that in the earlier episodes she was jealous of Ye Fan’s leadership, when they arrived in the new world.
Even when her and the others were recruited by the elders to join a sect because they could cultivate, she got arrogant because Ye Fan was still a mortal.
She even told him ” you can’t cultivate, so live your life as a mortal ” with lot of ego.
And when she met him again, she got jealous because he could cultivate and was getting stronger than her.
She is just a b*** who is not able to forget the past and move on.
Even during their short conversation before their in this episode you could see on her face that she still doesn’t accept the fact that Ye Fan is stronger than her and he has moved on.
But her actions forces him, to have a fight that doesn’t make sense, at now he doesn’t have an grudges against her.
But she’s stupid and stubborn because was well manipulated by Hua Ynfei. 🤦♂️
Yeah, she is annoying that’s why her end is kind of messed up and sad at the same time. This is basically just another of her obsessions that she can’t let go and like you said she is also easy to get manipulated by someone.
There they go falling for the formation, the oldest trick in the book. I’d have thought such a culture of geniuses would have made a formation tracking device by now but no, they keep falling for it, and it’s always in the most obvious place, right in the middle of main stage or in a key section.

there is nothing in this episode or the preview for this episode that suggests Ye Fan was going to use a technique based on the nine dragons pulling the coffin, you just came up with that in your own head from what you saw

in last that building falling from sky which came after Li Xiaoman use the technique is that the same building or whatever that was against which shi hao fought in his early days in that lower realm
they should have atleast had something changed because of this fight but basically nothing happened….
After all that flashy techniques this guy still couldn’t kill even one of his enemies. Instead of showing off with different techniques couldn’t he have beheaded that hua yunfei with a sword at the end of episode? But no he had to talk a bunch of nonsense and waste time. I’m 100% with you. A jealous parasitic bitsh and a scheming two-faced bastxrd, two monumentally petty rabid dogs begging 2b put down (no offence to dogs) til there’s no chance of respawning. Then rob everything they had. To hell with past acquaintanceship and common origins, they’re both disgusting.
Some people use the rule of strength to thieve and trample and suck on peoples’ blood like vampires, but there’s lines I’d never cross. Like the principles that made Ye Fan evolve when he was about to die. She especially is filth under the shoe.
There’s only a few episodes left, hopefully they sort this sh*t, it’s dragged on too long.
It’s bit of a shame the studio gave up on the manifestations of moons and shit they were doing before Ye Fan got hit with the doa curse thing. Those things always looked impressive. This doa treasure during this fight reminded me of the awesome scale we saw at lower cultivation levels, and it’s just a shame they have toned down that scale for majority of the fights since then. It’s sort of just Ye Fan flaying around with his sword with a fewer more impressive looking techniques thrown in. Even the fights back when he first got his cauldron looked more visually impressive than a lot of the fights we have seen in thee past 25-50 episodes in my opinion.
Great show, just a shame the studio hasn’t really made his increased cultivation levels all that satisfying. It’s like we just have to take the shows word that he fighting more powerful people, because visually, they don’t seem to be doing anything that much different than before, and in some cases, seem to be far less grand in their displays of power.
