so yeah i guess this is finally the beginning of long rivalry between ye fan and yaoguang holy son. those swords unleashed by yaoguang holy son are absolute menace, to kill those assassins like that. imo, honestly, yaoguang has more edge than the current ye fan.. i mean he’s one of the top most villain character that survived the longest from ye fan’s generation~ moreover, his character is a bit awkward that it’s quite hard to treat him just like those other villains.. ⚔ 🌀

and we should know the reason he chose yaoguang is not only bcs he got a grudge with him by suspicion (gah, remind me again of those flawed patch up episode), but bcs he wanted to test yaoguang’s abilities.. what was revealed to the world is that yaoguang has reached dragon transformation 2nd heavenly layer, but we know for sure that his battle prowess is deeper than that. ye fan has always thought that yaoguang holy son is unfathomable, even though his own prowess is increasing with time.. 🐉 💫

honestly, she looked better than ziyue in some aspects. ziyue is bratty. miaoyi is well.. secretly naughty just in front of ye fan (shame that donghua didn’t share that spicy details to us). moreover she’s mesmerizing. we should know that those people from miaoyi nunnery are adept at mesmerizing people. this is why they have such discussion in this episode. but true to his character, our mc, ye fan, the black hand and womanizer, actually managed to counter mesmerize this complicated woman himself. ugh let’s just say donghua made her somewhat innocent looking, which is far from the truth. 😏 🌸 🖤
