Yes. Episode 9 while WL was at foundation establishment. He was given a cold Yin room to cultivate at the corpse sect (in Zhao). That Yin energy was coming from that same body.

I saw a post about that. After I seen death note, most live action adaptations were major flops, so I don’t have any expectations for it. I will check it out when it releases though.

I think they’d need an incredible amount of budget to make such an action pack story work well, though tbf East Asia’s production budget is a lot more affordable than the west
I’ve seen Netflix done well with their live action Parasite: The Maxim and Hellbound in terms of CGI, but story wise they’re nowhere near as Solo Leveling in needing any form of effects
Like, they’d probably need an equivalent budget & production of Andor (close to $1 billion), meanwhile Andor itself is an exception, not the rule
Other shows like Witcher, Rings of Power, etc. doesn’t have nearly the same “bang for your buck” in terms of budget & production value (basically they look cheaper than the alleged budget)
And this isn’t even touching the issue of writing and tendency to discontinue projects too quickly (like, 1-2 months post release) in order to execute the project well
All in all, I trust the anime’s production & business model more than whatever technobabble Netflix got at this point. Though that’s not saying it couldn’t succeed, just that the chances are equally iffy

The problem is that the bar is very high with RI. I have to spend a week to get back into Mortals journey to immortality. That maybe a good one to follow. Han Li’s journey is a slow burn. However it’s considered top level. Perfect World is not bad, but they speed run through scenes. The MC Shi Hao is my style. A will eternal is 2D but the storyline is good. I usually don’t get Chinese humour, but I can follow this one. Special mention to the new donghua “Eclipse of Illusion”

Renegade Immortal figting style hasnt change at all. Most character that we see now, all are weak. We’ll see fighting style change once Wang lin leave Suzaku and go to Tianyun. There, fight using spell were more common than treasure.

A lot of people miss that. if you look at a forehead, you could see the leaves. She’s actually the main body of that white hair fractured spirit that WL took from the giant demon clan ancestor he killed back in EP93(I think).
