Also, it looks like Shui Realm is translated as Initial Realm; I thought that it would be translated as “Origin Realm”.
Some context, in Immortal cultivation, the paths divided into Shui Realm (Initial/Origin Realm), Ji (Extreme) Realm and Dao realm. Most cultivators choose Dao realm as it is the longest but most consistent. Ji (Extreme) Realm is the fastest and most dominating. It dominates cultivators of Dao realm but also dominates itself as Wang Lin original body was capped at Core Formation unable to go past Nascent Soul, ending with him having to abandon it completely and went for Ancient God path after removing Extreme Realm.
Not much is known about Shui (Initial / Origin) Realm but it is the most mysterious among the three.
Also note here that Wang Lin wants to re-engage in death from Extreme Realm and life from Initial Realm to perfect his Life and Death Reincarnation but as usual the show in the past have indicated what the character think is correct might not be correct / successful in the end ( as in Deity Transformation, the primordial soul is thought to be eternal and indestructible by the people but can end up getting crushed / devoured etc anyway)

After sometimes it will go into a cocoon state and evolves into the next star. He’s currently at 3 stars and sleeping in some core of some planet.
The white hair Wang Lin is the clone, which is following the Path of Immortality (See episode 62). And yes; for the majority of the show, we have and will follow the path of the clone.
