Those dudes fighting are planet level cultivators who were never able to leave Vermillion – sure they are powerful in the context of the people we have met so far, but Tuo Shen is an ancient freaking god, which I have to assume is beyond inter-planetary level in his real form (though not his little projected form), though IDK how he’d stack against other celestials at the peak of their power.

oh hell no bro, RI is good, but not RMJI good. RMJI is also No. 1 for me. Han Li’s single-minded focus on his cultivation is interesting and very exciting. And he’s not too over powered yet. WL is a “bit” overpowered already in the series, and this development of him running around “to save the girl” is a bit “meh” for me. Story would have been much more interesting if he wasn’t bound so much to some thot. His enemies targeted her because she was his weakness. Han Li is better/cooler as he is currently more-single-minded in his pursuit of cultivation and never voluntarily gave in to thot temptation (despite so many around him). So he currently doesn’t have a “thot weakness” yet that enemies can exploit.

idk about being trash or not. rmji did change lots of details in the beginning, but it keeps getting better and better. i for one, favor rmji. like doctor mo, him having more than one wife and lots of female children is actually a thing that was not written properly into the donghua. there’s even an incident where his eldest daughter, mo yuzhu, married the enemy’s sect lord’s son… my guess is, it’s either a bit too complicated or they don’t want to keep some variables. well i’m not that good in keeping these stuff. but they do keep their tabs along the way and the plotline has been pretty consistent. the thing about rmji is that it’s realistic about how the weak struggles in cultivation world. and how mc struggles finding his identity within his struggle to stay alive.
